What a nice, polite post! A breath of fresh air to read such a post. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with any of the posts on this thread, but so many threads do have ugly comments and rude people. Just nice to read a pleasant post!

Has the Aquatheater been used as a pool at all during your cruise so far? I thought I read during construction that the Aquatheater would be used as a pool sometimes. Those main pools are way too crowded!

Radio mentioned the diving class a few pages ago, (I would think that the Aquatheater would not be permitted for general sunbathing/swimming):

Diving class was being help in the Aquatheater Pool this morning

Here are a few more pics from last night and this morning. . .

STEAMER CHAIRS! :D OMG! The Allure has Steamer Chairs! What a classic image of luxury ocean travel. Can't wait to kick back in one of those like a grand lady traveling the high seas!

Thank you, Radio, for showing us so many interesting aspects of the ship.

When you dock in Cozumel tomorrow, could you try to get a picture of the ship, straight on from the side. We're interested to see where exactly is the gap in lifeboats. It seems like there're no lifeboats under the hump, but at an angle, it's hard to tell.

Also, does the Allure have the new self-serve soda fountain like Trainman showed us on the Freedom?

And one more question for Labadee. Does the sidewalk start right at the end of the pier, and lead over to Barefoot Beach? So say, a regular wheelchair (not the beach chairs) could be pushed all the way off the ship, down the pier, and down the sidewalk to the beach area?

Keep up the good work and pretty pics. From the pic on the trolley, you look like you're having a good time.

Hello everyone. . . Welcome to Day 6 of “LIVE” from Allure of the Seas. We are getting close to Cozumel, our next port of call. We only have about 20nm to go. I seems that we may arrive early today. Our scheduled arrival time is 8AM.

The forecast for today is hot and sunny, with little chance of rain. My plans for today are to go down to Chankanaab Nature Park, or La Ceiba El Cid Resort (near the Pier). El Cid has internet access, and food (for their AI pkg), and Chankanaab has a great beach and snorkeling. . .hmmm. . . Decisions, decisions.

I was thinking of going down town to San Miguel, but I think that 6000 other passengers may also consider the same thing. . .

I will try to get some pics of our arrival, but the connection has been less than normal this morning. I am hoping it improves before we arrive.

I enjoyed Casino Royale again last night, and I was able to go to “Jazz on 4” for some great music. . .

Thanks for the nice comments, and thanks for tuning in. . .

Here are a few pics from yesterday. . .

First, I want to say that aim really enjoying your review. Thank you so much for sharing your cruise with us.

Did you get an invitation for the C&A event? Is it posted in the Compass? What time of the day was it?

Thank you. Enjoy the remainder of your cruise!

It is not in the Compass. . . You will receive an Invitation in your stateroom. They did however have another Crown and Anchor event yesterday (Thurs) morning at 10AM at the Aquatheater. This event was announced on you Stateroom TV (Message Center). This event was for All members (Gold included).

I did not go to this event. . .

Allure does not have the self serve soda dispensers. I asked about it and was told it was only on Freedom, and Monarch.

There is a paved sidewalk that leads from the pier to all of the beaches. I don't remembers seeing any wheelchairs though. I saw alot of electric scooters and beach wheelchairs . . .

It was only used as a passenger pool for the Belly Flop competition. They were very serious about advising all participants not to use any type of sun lotion, or sun block while in the Aquatheater Pool.

Woo hoo...... what a great way to enjoy my am coffee (starbucks card is ready for the cruise) Looking at your excellent pics. Did you make it to Rita's yet? If you did was it the "Fiesta"? I'm trying to decide between lunch there and the "Fiesta" night, although 3 margaritas and I'll be heading for bed.......

Thank you so much for your review.

Wow. . . We have 5896 Passengers on Voyage 26

Never mind, at first I thought the sign said there were no Cylons, which would be a result of having a Starbuck on board.

Hello Radio,

I will be on the Allure's June 5, 2011 trip. I thank you for your wonderful review, it is very helpful. It is so nice for you to take time from your sailing to help and share with others. Have you eaten in any specialty restaurants and how are they, and has the food continued to be good in the MDR, like you mentioned earlier. Thank you, and have a wonderful rest of your cruise.

Hi Mr. Radio!

I will try to do my best in English, since I am from Puerto Rico...so I hope that you excuse any language mistakes. ;)

Your photos are awesome! Thanks for letting us share your great Allure experience with all of us!! I am sure that everyone in this thread appreciates inmensely your effort and that you take time from your vacation to give us an idea of what to expect from our next cruise (ours will be the Oasis, July 9).

I am looking forward to see what you have to tell us about Cozumel today! We booked Nachi Cocum for that port....have you heard any reviews on this?

I have to tell you that with everyone of your posts and photos I get more and more excited!! Can't wait my time to GO!

Keep enjoying the rest of your cruise (and posting :D)!!!!!!!!!

Radio,

Loved seeing the picture of the Celebrity Horizon - that was my very first cruise (solo) in October, 1999 out of Philadelphia to Bermuda and I have been hooked ever since.

Also can you use your Starbucks card or do you have to use your Sea Pass card to purchase coffee & rack up stars for free drinks - I know I would if I got on a ship with a Starbucks.
