my son won $3000 playing poker on the 3rd night. I won 218.00 on slots and while waiting for the money, I played the machine next to the one I just won on and won 785.00. Overall between my winnings and my son's we had a very good cruise!

I won a little over $2000 while on Destiny. Won it on Blackjack, Craps, and the Blackjack tournament.

I won $1,600.00 on the penny slots on the DREAM last year. The next day, my BFF won $1,500.00 on the machine next to it:D.

I won $1,500 on a nickle poker machine. It was a fluke. We had signed up for drawings after we boarded and went back to the casino at 9 PM for the drawing. I sat down at a machine and put in $20. I seldom play slots so was not accustomed to the type of poker it was playing. It kept asking me if I wanted to double up, triple up, and I kept hitting yes. I was just killing time. All of a sudden the thing starts flashing. I was so excited I couldn't figure out what the amount of nickles translated to until the attendant told me.

 

I won $500.00 in the black jack tourney once back in the day when I was still paying for my own entry. Hasn't happened since.

 

I have put back many many many times more over the years I am sure but hey, it's entertainment. It even says so on my sign and sail bill. lol

My wife won 5k on our last cruise in September. We were on the Conquest and she hit a straight flush playing Caribbean Stud. It made the rest of the cruise very nice.

Worked a couple years in Vegas casino, learned that gambling is not for me. Have never gambled on cruise ship ..... except once in awhile at the buffet with mystery meat.

On my Valor cruise, I was on my 3rd quarter at the slot machine and won $64. That was enough to make me happy. :D

I forgot I also got 2nd in the slot tournament on Destiny. It was a good casino trip. The next cruise, I was on the bubble and almost in the finals and the last gut that was playing hit a jackpot on his last spin and knocked me out of the finals - so not even a t-shirt that time.

back in 2010 on the Freedom, I was playing a $1 machine, won $400, played another $30 and hit $1200. Next day I won $500 at bingo. Nice not having a sign and sail bill!!

I usually bring about $300 to play blackjack on the cruise. When it's done, I'm done. Usually I play the entire cruise. I figure if I come home with any portion of the $300, it is a good week. One year on the last hand of the cruise I bet a whole $50!:eek: I got 2 8's. Dealer showed a 4. I split and got 10's for each 8. Dealer busted with a 24! I was $100 bucks richer! I know, not a big deal, but when you usually bet $5 a hand, it was pretty exciting.

I won the 2011 Carnival PokerPro Challenge. $50,000 in cash, a free cruise (balcony cabin) and free entry into 2012 Carnival PokerPro Challenge.

In 2008 I won a total of $5500 on 3 different Carnival ships. On the Conquest I won $1000 on the $1 Wheel of Fortune with a big spin. On the Valor I won $2000 on a $1 Wheel of Fortune with a combination. On the Glory I won $2500 on a .25 machine that I sat down at waiting for the WOF machine to be available.....:p

 

I have been incredibly lucky over the years and usually win and lose back to them $300+ dollars over the course of the week.

 

What I've been doing lately is putting my $20 in the machine, playing max credits at the end of my $20 I play 1/2 the credits that I've won back and bank the other 1/2. Once I have $50 of "their" money I go play a $1 machine.

About $700.00 on the Glory in 2009. That was playing blackjack over the length of the cruise. Probably played 4 or 5 of the 7 nights.
