Would you mind sharing roughly how much a day car rental is? and do you rent when there? or reserve in advance?

They were both on the Explorer last month. Jack had dinner most nights with a senior officer he is a very nice guy. And then there was Mr. Fake Hair visor guy who sells them BTW.:):(

I got a Ford Focus (pre reserved). There was a sign on the counter that read "Sorry, No cars available. . .Only pre -reservation customers today"

 

The cost was only $45. per day (+ 7.10 tax)

Medic Ken, thanks for the update on Radio. I'm sure he is super frustrated about all of this!

I wonder why that other couple is able to post from their iPad if there is no internet connectivity?

Oooops! Sorry Radio and brother. I guess I was reading too quickly! I thought MedicKen was onboard! Just shows how desperately I need a cruise, i'm losing it!!!!

We're ready to go Jan. 14th on Enchantment Southern Caribbean cruise. Looking forward to the enhancements just made to the ship. This is our 4th time aboard. Radio, what's new on board? What and where is the Diamond lounge? This is the first time that we are Diamond members.

So glad to see you back on line! I look forward to your live reports so much!! The pictures are beautiful and are appreciated! Especially since it has been especially cold and rainy here in the South. I dream of warm sunny skies!!! Hope you have a great rest of your cruise!!!

Hello everyone. . . Welcome to Day 5 of "LIVE" from Enchatment of the Seas

 

 

I am in beautiful St.Thomas, USVI. The weather is beautiful and the skies are clear. I am currently reporting from the open air lobby of Marriott's Morningstar Beach Resort. I stopped for a little while over at Sapphire Beach, but there were a lot of clouds and it looked like it was going to pour. . .Silly me. . .I should have known that the sun would come out soon.

 

The bad news is that the Internet connection is still shut down. There are several techs working on the server, and they expect to have it repaired today. I hope so. . .i have a lot of pics to post.

 

 

I will be back to the ship by 4 and provide an update. . .

Hi Radio, Can you tell me about the Marriott resort beach? Do you have to rent chairs or get a day pass? Also, what is the cost of a taxi there? Thanks!
