catl331 Posted July 16, 2013 #101 Share Posted July 16, 2013 I as wondering about all those boats also but I went on Google Earth and zoomed in. There was quite a distance from the ex-stacks and the water. Also there were enough Coast Guard and pilot boats policing. Must have been nice from the Hyatt, if anyone was up yet. innlady1 Posted July 16, 2013 #103 Share Posted July 16, 2013 Good morning! Nope - no puppy - Mum didn't become a mum.;) Just as well I think as Fox had to go back for more surgery:eek: Now the other Mum we were considering has had puppies so we need to make a decision if we are going to bit the bullet;) We got a new puppy last Wednesday! An Australian Terrier. He's very cute...but a handful, as puppies are! I missed the imploding live...didn't get up til 6:50...but have seen it replayed on TV. Amazing how fast they do those things. Randyk47 Posted July 16, 2013 #108 Share Posted July 16, 2013 I guess they're going to replace the plant with a new one but it'll be a cleaner natural gas plant so maybe no big stacks. Suppose to be built over the next three years.

BeagleOne Posted July 16, 2013 #110 Share Posted July 16, 2013 Wah! Sad to see them go. The port webcam home page has the stacks disappearing and reappearing in the upper right corner of the screen. Someone there definitely has a sense of humor. Good video, too.
