LOVE the Miami Vice. I also love the Chocolate Mocha Getaway and the Tirimisu Martini. On the Triumph the only place we could find the Tirimisu Martini was at the casino bar, but my guess is the Alchemy Bar on Liberty will be able to do it.

 

I have not tried the Twilight Zone but it is definitely on my list for next time.

 

I also like to order at least one Funship Special. Usually either when boarding or 1st day by the pool.

Order a Madras. It is vodka, OJ and cranberry juice. Very good! ;) Another vote for Miami Vice. I tried Twilight Zone and it is just a different colored pina colada IMO. Maybe it's how that particular bartender made it but I was expecting something different. :confused:

 

That sounds good! I will try a madras this cruise. I am doing the martini tasting this cruise. I can't wait to try the different ones.

I'm torn as to my favorite. I like the fun ship special (aka rum punch) but I love my martinis. Caribbean sunset is my favorite. I need to remember ingredients since alchemy bar will change the martini line up.

 

 

 

 

So what's your fave?

Funship special just after boarding, then I move on to pomegranate martinis after muster drill. The rest of the cruise is whatever I feel like at the moment - but depending on the time of day, typically an assortment of mimosas, chardonnay, and Jim Beam and Diet Coke. :)

I had a drink on the Paradise at the past guest party that I've not seen on any menu. It's called Remy's Red. When I tried to get it at another bar I found out that it was only available at the Queen Mary bar and only 1 bartender knew how to make it. Once he came on duty I had him walk me through making one.

 

3/4 shot Gosling's Black Seal rum

3/4 shot Cruzan Coconut rum

1/2 shot Monnin coconut syrup (can order from Monnin)

splash of pineapple juice

splash of orange juice (I use Simply orange/pineapple juice)

 

Since I love coconut, it's perfect! I keep the first 3 ingredients mixed in the fridge and just add juice to take me back to the ship, if only in my mind!
