Yes & here are all of the elite mini-bar options:

Elite Mini-Bar

Full mini-bar may be exchanged for two (2) Coffee Cards

I wonder if they will allow half a mini bar and one coffee card? This way, both DW and I are happy.

This has been discussed before & those who have requested 1 card for half of a mini-bar said it was not possible to do.

Yes, I understand but you were able to achieve Elite level much quicker than those who travel double. There is some advantage to that benefit especially if one can chose to cruise those 3, 4, or 5 day California Coastals. They can add up to the next level quite quickly.

Not sure I understand. Regardless of how Pam achieved her points she still had to pay double what you would have had to pay for the same cruise. That's the least the cruise line can do for those wanting to travel by themselves.

Thanks Mike; I usually go off later in the day and never bother with tender tickets. All this time I thought I was getting away with something. ;)

When you're Elite, your back card is all you need to join into the tender line. :)

There are many inequities in life. I am happy with most offerings by Princess and understand that it would be an impossible task to take everyone into consideration. Thus the blanket perks regardless of gender, relationships, and/or status.

I say this because I travel with another friend (very platonic). We are now both Elite but will receive the same cabin perks as a couple. I am okay with this. The only time that I decided to speak to the Customer Service director/officer was when we were traveling on the Golden for multiple voyages. Each time we stayed in a suite, our complimentary stationary said Ms.... and Ms.... together. I made an appointment with ____ (I apologize for the senior moment) to explain our issue. The next time we were in the suite, BINGO, there were two sets of stationary, each with our own name.

I stopped by his office again to thank him. He said that, under his watch, there will be a policy change on the Golden. Since most everything is printed onboard, the only stationary printed together would be names that are Mr. and Mrs. Everyone else will receive their own stationary.

I apologize to anyone who would prefer stationary together. I am not a women libber, but if I can alert someone to an agreeable change, then I am happy. He didn't have to do this, but it made two passengers happy and I hope others too.

Would I like 2 mini-bar set ups...yes. (we do get this as Elites and in a suite). But can't always afford a suite?

Would I like 2 CCL credits...yes (they do this for military)?

Would I like ...?

Princess treats their Captain Circle members very well. They are not very user friendly to solo travels and non-couples. But life isn't fair and we learn to deal with it. I choose to sail with Princess. I know that my post skirts the outside parameters of the OP and again, I apologize and hope that my post is received warmly.

I'm wondering if I met you in the transit lounge while waiting to go back on the Golden Nov 4th? Were you in a window suite?

Military get OBC on each voyage, but not double credits.:)

I think the poster was trying to say that if both people are elite, only one mini-bar setup, but if both are veterans, they each get the Military OBC. If both are shareholders, only one OBC.

Wow. Princess should fix that Military OBC, so that it is in line

with the other benefits.

I can only compare the OBC's with Princess and Celebrity. Princess is way better than Celebrity. You can combine perks/OBC with Princess but have to just pick just the one that works best for you on Celebrity.

And Celebrity has watered down the Future Cruise Benefit if you aren't booking your next cruise while on board (if you just do the $100 deposit on board) and they just made it much more difficult to move up loyalty levels as well. To top it off they made this change while we were at sea on one of their cruises, without any warning at all so when we got off the ship we were not nearly as close to Elite as we thought we would be when we got onto the ship! So much for our experiment over at Celebrity, we are back to Princess....

The topic about the New Captains Club changes over in the Celebrity area is over 70 pages long already!!

On cruises with many elite passengers (Crown 500+, Royal 1200+) all elites had to go to the dining room to get a tender group number.

Were you ever actually on Crown or Royal when this happened?

I thought it was clear that this was my personal experience & if I was posting hearsay would say so.

I was actually on the Crown Princess (500+ elites) in 2012 from Venice to Galveston and on the Royal Princess (1200+ elites) from Venice to Ft. Lauderdale in 2013 when we (elites) were required to go to the dining room to get a tender group number.

Actually, in no way doubting ...just wondering because this has happen to us in the Caribbean with 500 Elites on Emerald Princess and still just used our black card to tender ... thanks for providing when and especially where because of another question and wanted to make absolutely sure before asking.

Were Elites told to go to one place for boarding passes and non Elites to another?

You replied before I removed the doubting part...everyone went to a dining room with elites (and probably suites) directed to one side & everyone else to the other side. As far as I know both groups had different numbers but not positive. We were in the 1st priority group & once the ship was cleared were escorted to a tender. It went rather quickly & appeared to result in smooth tendering. On both cruises this was the procedure for tendering into Cannes. I don't know why your experience in the Caribbean was different...maybe it was the length of the tender ride?

when we tendered at Lombok Indonesia it was a long tender ride and i dont know how many elites were onboard but elites had to meet in the night club and given a number and when it was time to go elites were escorted to the tender area so it does happen as they didnt want elites hanging around the tender area

Yes, that was me. Were we sitting next to each other and you were waiting for your parents? Good memory (you).

Howdy! Are you taking advantage of more of these promotional cruises?

Yes I was, on the Royal TA. They sent all elites a letter saying to go to the dining room and then proceeded to send tender after tender (we counted 8) from the non elite area that were on private tours while we sat for over an hour waiting - so much for elite priority tendering and we would have gotten off faster ignoring the letter and going to get a ticket like the non elites. This was in Cannes our only tender port.

You were very lucky cause after that we sat in that dining room while tender after tender were taken from the other MDR. People were complaining but the CC person was just rude and miserable that day.

I'm not sure why princess goes to Cannes and tenders there when going to the port in Monte Carlo is so much easier and hassle free:confused:
