You can also find one in the windjammer.

Oh shoot...I put Park Cafe didn't I? I meant Windjammer. Actually there were two at the Windjammer when we were on, although one was out of ice by the 3rd day. I don't have the specific needs the poster asking the question does, so I found it was just so much easier taking my cup to a bar and having it filled. They were all very nice about doing so.

Hi Jodi!!! So great to hear from you! I'm getting back on the Enchantment Friday.

Okay you have me a bit worried, I have a B2B on the Vision this fall... Do I need to change ships? Tell me more about what went wrong please.

Maybe I should join y'all for the 14th sailing...

Michael

First, it was a "booze cruise". Never thought I would say that about RCL. It was the holiday weekend, this cruise was fairly inexpensive and they really discounted it about 4 weeks out. They were clearly no ready to handle the AI alcohol packages that they sold. Additionally, there are not enough bars to handle a sold out ship with that many people purchasing the packages. The first day, the pool bar was 4 people deep. It took 45 minutes to get a drink. Not one bar server walking around the area. I mean it, not 1!!! Dan and I could not believe it! The beverage manager stopped in the CL and we spoke with her. I felt so sorry for her. People were demanding their money back at the end of the 1st night and in the morning. I was clear that you could not get your $$ because of the wait times. The R bar is half the size of Enchantment. The servers were way stressed and it showed in their attitudes. This was a very quick get away for us, we booked an interior. By far, the worst interior we have had on any ship. Overall, there was a different vibe from the staff. Never, I mean never in 36 RCL cruises have we felt this. Once in a while you get a rude/over worked employee, but it just seemed to be the vibe of the ship. Schooner musician, clearly played what he liked/wanted. He was not interested in people singing along. People would sit up at his table and he would not engage with them at all. There were a lot of unhappy cruisers. Giovanni's was great. Chops was so-so. New menu is ok.

PLEASE PLEASE join us on the 14th on Enchantment!! Hope this helped. You can email me at jlh.dp3@gmail.com

Jodi

We will be on Enchantment end of July. Can u please find out the non alcohol package ($20/per day) includes like virgin piña coladas or frozen virgin strawberry daiquiris as well as soft drinks. Some say yes. Some say no. Some say depending on ship or bartender. Thank u for any inquiries.

Thank you for the link on your June cruise that led me to this review. Your pics are fabulous.

I agree Junkaroo is a nice beach with clean restrooms. I'm a large lady in my 60's and I was able to walk there.

Another great review Michael, thanks for posting all of the excellent pictures. They brought back so many memories of our Explorer cruise in February and help to ratchet up the excitement for our next voyage on sister ship, Grandeur in 227 days...

Love your reviews, Michael ... this one was really fantastic, as were your pics ... and u do pack ur reviews with a lot of useful info.

I noticed u said booked Adventure and Vision for fall ? Sure hope u do reports on them ... love to see them!

Question about smoking on board. Not sure if you are a smoker, but my partner is .. and I know smoking on balconies is a no-no now ... where did u notice smoking was permitted on the ship? We're on Enchantment in exactly 111 days!

Thanks for the info ... and keep ur cruises & reports coming!

PS ... your story about the call to the naughty room was hilarious .. been there once too ;)

Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed them. I'm trying to provide more usual information that the common cruiser would need to know.

I changed my Fall schedule up, and did Enchantment on 10/3 and leaving for Liberty this week.

I'll also be doing reviews from Liberty next week, Brilliance in Jan, Oasis in March, and Freedom in June.

Hey Michael!! Jodi and Dan from Brilliance in March!! We are hopping on Enchantment July 14 after Disney with the kids. They did not want to do a cruise, so they are heading home. Did Vision over the Holiday weekend. First RCL ship that I said "never again". It was an interesting cruise.

Cant' wait to get back on Enchantment!

What was wrong with Vision? We're doing 12 nights on her next May... Should I be worried?!

Hello SC Floaters,

My family and I are from Blythewood, SC outside of Columbia and we'll be on the Enchantment 24 Dec 2015. Do you have any hotel recommendations?

You should also post your question in the Florida Departures forum:

Just want to say I am enjoying all of your reviews!

They've helped me to push the button to go ahead and try the Enchantment out. (have only done Disney and Carnival before)

I'm glad I could help, as that's always been my goal. Enchantment holds a special place in my heart!

Hi keijenxs! We are from Tulsa (Denver & Boston, too) & will be on the Enchantment December 24th as well. I'm taking my four adult children (34, 30, 30, 28) & we're staying at the Marriott Courtyard.

hi Michael...

Hope you are still getting notifications for this thread...fellow Knoxvillian has a quick question about Diamond lounge access. (Go Vols). ;0

On previous cruises we have not been able to use the Diamond Lounge unless we were in a suite. We are booked in. jr. Suite on the EOS in August and was not expecting to have that benefit, (since a jr. Suite is not a "real" suite), but from what I read on your posts you are able to visit the diamond lounge, and you mentioned you had an inside cabin I believe.

Can you or anyone clarify the rules for Diamond Lounge access for this ship?

Thanks and happy sailing!

Pam

Diamond Lounge and Concierge Lounge are different. Michael could utilize DL while in an inside cabin because he has Diamond status. Suite guests have the CL to use, however on most ships they share it with Diamond Plus and Pinnacle passengers. Junior Suite guests do not have access to CL unless they meet the loyalty requirements above.
