Well, I know we will be waving. I wonder if anyone on the ship will wave to us? or....is anyone up at the condos and will their sound their airhorns??? Probably not. LOL That would sure wake up a bunch of people. Maybe the captain will get on the air as he sails past the camera and say...toot toot toot for us.

I just wanted to say that as frustrating as the Veendam delay is, the passengers can still have a great cruise if they put their mind to it. I don't understand some of the passenger's negative comments. Stuff happens. On our very first cruise, which was on the Maasdam, we never started boarding until around 7:30pm and didn't pull out until after midnight. (She had a mechanical problem and didn't arrive until late afternoon.) We missed HMC the next day. I guess as newbies we never thought about "compensation." We were just thrilled to be cruising!
