Oh I understand! Not taken as criticism at all Bill. Im not sure if you remember my situation but Im paraplegic and in a wheelchair and I just havent been able to find a helipad that is accessible without people carrying me up the stairs!

We had a group that was gonna try it on Radiance but we decided against it in case something happened like they dropped me or something

I would LOVE to go out there for sailaway but I just dont know if its possible or not.

Could have sworn there are ramps to the helipad on IOS - could be wrong though ....

Just had a look at some photos I think there's just a ramp bit at the top of the steps.

No ramp that I am aware of in our experience - stairs only. See attached picture.

Flash forward 30 years and I do as little (or as much) as I want. Most times that means a lot of relaxing.

Great statement, as long as you or I had a great cruise, that is all that matters. Personally I am very consistent at being inconsistent.

Never been rude to a member of staff nor ever would be

Excellent one. I have apologized to a crew member when the guy in front of me in line at the Explorations desk on Navigator was rude. I think I did it out of concern for the reputations of Americans. They guy was an American on board this Western Caribbean cruise. The lady behind the desk was German and took a whole lot of abuse from this guy. I don't remember how legitimate his complaint was, but he went way overboard.

That wouldn't be all that bad with some help but I also think there are more stairs leading up to that as well? At least there was on Radiance. I didn't even check out there on Freedom.

Oh, yea, having read some of your reviews I remember some of the photos have a perspective that an observant person can notice they are taken from a chair. It makes them slightly unique and enjoyable. Once I read the above line, the bit about the helipad became pretty obvious. Though on Allure and Oasis, I think I have read stairs are involved. I haven't read anything yet on the Quantum to see if the situation here is any different. The early pics from the ship builder give hope that it might be more accessible.

Never been in kids pool

.

This is one I might change someday. My grandson turns 1 this weekend. In a couple of years if RC repeats the BOGOHO we might take him. The H20 Zone on the Freedom and Oasis class look like a lot of fun. I've avoided the temptation so far.

Never had a lunch in the MDR.....something I plan on exploring in the future, since everyone raves about the Tutti Salad!

Thanks to the Arizona Cruisers I did this finally on my 8th cruise on Allure in 2013. The person who organized the cabin crawl organized the lunch after. It was a very pleasurable experience. I will do this again.

Never been to the doctor and never been on the flowrider. Especially since the latter would probably lead to the former.

Never been on a zip line, but that's only because we've never been on a ship that has one. To be remedied next August!

Never done the buffet for dinner. Mostly because we enjoy the dinner service and our tablemates (so far, anyway).

On Freedom (and Voyager) class ships you can access the helipad deck, which is deck 5, directly from Pharaohs Lounge (Freedom) on that deck on the right hand side as you just enter the lounge just past the Connoisseur Club. This eliminates the outside stairs from deck 4 but still leaves you with the access stairs to the helipad.

Thanks for the information :) Just being able to get out to the deck would be nice!

MDR lunch and breakfast are probably my favorites. I had a burger on the Navigator in June that was to die for.

Zip lines, flow riders, rock climb walls and ice skating are out of the question for me. I have multiple sclerosis and walk with gimp sticks (forearm crutches). That's just one of the things that I love about cruising, the ships are fairly "disability friendly"

Good know about your Navigator burger! I'll be boarding her in just a few months. I can't bring myself to choke back one of the Windjammer burgers, although the room service burgers are actually pretty decent.

I've done breakfast in the MDR many times, but I think the reason I've avoided the MDR room for lunch is I spend most of the day in a bathing suit and cover up--not MDR attire appropriate
