5kids2dogs Posted January 31, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2015 We will be on Liberty of the Seas in March. What time do they expect you to be out of your room? How late does breakfast run? Just wondering what time we can no longer eat or go back to our room.

LetsGetWet! Posted January 31, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 31, 2015 As has been said, they really *expect* you to be out of your room by 8:30 or so, maybe 9:00 by the latest. By the time they have to come knock on the door & ask you to PLEASE leave, you've definitely overstayed your welcome & made their job of getting the rooms ready for the next passengers more difficult than it should be. beachnative Posted January 31, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 31, 2015 We usually eat then go back to our cabin for a while till they knock on our door. Sometimes almost 10.;) We do a lot of Back2Back cruises. People who stay to "sometimes almost 10" hold up the process of reaching "zero count" and is an inconsiderate act that inconveniences many other guests. I was on a B2B a couple of weeks ago and everything came to a stand still while they announced and searched for 4 inconsiderate people.

Just wondering what time we can no longer eat or go back to our room. Probably not later than about 8.30am, maybe 9 at the latest. Any later would be inconsiderate to the crew. The stewards have to get straight in for a quick turnaround.
cb at sea Posted January 31, 2015 #8 Share Posted January 31, 2015 Breakfast is served earlier on the last morning, so that you can be gone....they WANT you gone ASAP!!
Pumbaamd Posted January 31, 2015 #9 Share Posted January 31, 2015 (edited) Unless you do a B2B and observe what goes on in clearing the ship for customs and Homeland Security, most guests don't realize how serious the staff takes this disembarkation process. They must show a zero balance of guests on board before the new guests can begin to board. There is more to it than just cleaning the cabins. gerif Posted January 31, 2015 #10 Share Posted January 31, 2015 We usually eat then go back to our cabin for a while till they knock on our door. Sometimes almost 10.;) Please don't. It's really rude to do this. They ask that you vacate at 8 for a reason. Turn over day is very hard for the stewards. Why would you deliberately make their job more difficult? hallasm Posted January 31, 2015 #11 Share Posted January 31, 2015 We usually eat then go back to our cabin for a while till they knock on our door. Sometimes almost 10.;) For the latest cruises I have asked at got the answer: 8:am. And for a reason. We do all expect that the cabins are ready as early as possible - preferably 1 pm. Please follow the rules and not be rude!

PSCruiser Posted February 1, 2015 #13 Share Posted February 1, 2015 How late can you stay on? Ask the last few off the Liberty's Jan 22 heavy metal charter. Evidently they held up the Jan 26 embark by several hours by refusing to leave the ship. Hope RC makes enough profit from these charters to make it worthwhile to alienate the regular customers. iheartbda Posted February 1, 2015 #14 Share Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) I hope someone is hanging their head in shame and will never again stay longer than the stated 8:30. Edited February 1, 2015 by iheartbda
Desert Cruizers Posted February 1, 2015 #15 Share Posted February 1, 2015 Our very first cruised on Princess, they called for a lady 5 X's and by the 4 time, they were getting very upset, because she hadn't reported to immigrations in the Vista Lounge, by this time they were telling her to get to Guest Relations ASAP.
