Breakfast in the Solarium... Park Café... Windjammer... Johnny Rockets... along with a donut and coffee from the Boardwalk... all in the same morning.

Calories don't count on a cruise:D [\Quote]

He he...I like that one...and of course, true.

Looking out from the balcony (right after room service delivers my coffee) to see the new port awaiting me every morning.

Watching the ship pull out of the port at the beginning of the cruise.

Watching the pier runners (folks late getting back to the ship) at each port.

The Quest. Not participating..just watching.

Sitting and watching the crowd, just relaxing with a drink in hand.

Hearing that ding when my Seapass card is swiped when I board the ship on embarkation.

Sitting on the balcony, late at night listening and watching as we glide through the water, seeing the lights from a nearby island or a ship.

Thought I'd start a fun thread. What is your favorite show ,activity, or thing to do on the ship? .

I may take some of the fun out of it. I like to take pictures of chair hogs and post that on cruise critic.

One of my favorites used to be running a few miles on the track in the morning, but I think my body isn't going to allow me to do that anymore. Time for Shuffleboard I guess.

I have every morning ritual of getting up just before sunrise and going out on the front of the ship to watch and take pictures of the sunrise! It is real peaceful and serene at that time of morning with usualy just a handful of people walking around the track! I also like to sit around at various times in different parts of the ship with my margarita in hand (lounges, pool deck, promenade, etc.) and people watch! There are other things I do and like to do but these two are my favorite!

Mine, but not is order of preference:

1) Beer- good microbrews

2) Sunshine

3) Light breeze

4) Listening to Steel Drums from pool band while enjoying a beer

5) My iPod and walking deck

6) Shaded area with loungers for DW and I to (her=read, me= listen to iPod and snooze and enjoy a beer)

7) Crown & Anchor or Captains Club evening drinks

8) Enjoying bread & butter with wine at dinner

9) Escargot and bread

10) Up top when we sail into port and leave a port

11) sunrises and sunsets with clouds to reflect off of

12) donating to the casino (not really, but I usually do not win, but do have sun-entertainment fee)

13) enjoying watching and then drinking martini's being made at some of the Martini themed bars

14) eating at specialty restaurant and reminiscing that this use to be MDR service and food quality

15) first thing in morning and for sure last thing at night, going on balcony to see how the day is starting and hopefully seeing the stars at night

16) taking pictures with DW, then viewing them later on cruise.

17) meeting CC people we have been on cruise thread with

18) shopping for the perfect t-shirt while in ports of call

19) trying the local food at many ports of call (not always though)

20) talking DW into at least making a deposit on a future cruise while on board.

Happy Hour in the Diamond Lounge :D

Relaxing in the Solarium on Port Days :)

I like your thinking!! Especially the Happy 3 hour in the Diamond Lounge.

We enjoy the possibility of doing everything or nothing. Just what our heart desires. You are on vacation on board your favorite ship at this very moment. What else do you need. LOL. Sit back and relax.

I love threads like this that remind us why we love cruising.

1. I love the sail away and watching the skyline of the home port get smaller and smaller.

2. Running on the track or the treadmill- the view is great

3. Balcony time- reading, napping or watching the sea go by

4. Love and Marriage

5. Quest

6. Lounging in the Solarium (although we often have trouble finding open seats)

7. Breakfast on our balcony- we do this at least one time on every cruise

8. Trivia

I noticed several posters asked what the Quest was. I have never actually seen the Quest live, but I saw several Youtube videos of it. The Quest appears to vary from ship to ship, but it is basically a form of scavenger hunt/reality show using passengers who don't mind "performing" in public. I am looking forward to seeing it live in January on Liberty of the Seas.

Thanks for the explanation as Quest is a repeat response here. Since some have commented that they just watch, I assume this scavenger hunt is isolated to the room?

Yes, it's been described as an inside-the-room, adult scavenger hunt.

1. The Quest

2. Love and Marriage show. (we were on it once, such fun)

I love every single thing about cruising. The feeling you get as you step over the threshold onto "My Ship" is just wonderful, along with the "ping" your sea pass card makes as you are signed in!
