I am looking forward to your review! My mom and I sail in June. Hoping to hear that the Surfer package is great since we are planning on getting it and each using a device. Can you see if you can log the two devices in at the same time? We will mainly be using it for Facebook, and checking in with home!

I have a new camera for this trip, well, actually I bought it for my Alaska cruise, but, it arrived Tuesday, so, I brought it with me. Still just a simple point and shoot, but, with more megapixels and zoom.

May I ask what type of camera you have? It takes amazing pictures!!

It was the oddest thing. His eyes would get huge as he looked up at it. Then he would he crawl on his belly to get under a table or the patio chairs.:D

Hilarious!

!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, quit acting so surprised! You ate that many beefs on weck!

No, wake up! They are just about to put out warm soft fresh baked cookies upstairs and if I can't be there for them someone should be!

OMG! I forgot about those! Thanks! :D:D

Mike i just got off the Divina today and there is no diffuser.

Well, I've pretyped my post for today, so, I will touch on this, but, I haven't found any, either. Do they sell them somewhere in the Yacht Club?

Don't be so hard on yourself. It was embarkation so it wasn't a full day and you have another week to get the glasses of wine per day number up where it should be!

Hilarious! :D You're right, though, I drank all 9 between 1pm and 10pm. I left the buffet at 9pm, the end of my package, with 2 glasses of wine and a bottle of water tucked under my arm.

Now if there were cats riding on blimps and on wings on planes I'd be really be impressed.

Did you see that video that was making the rounds last year, of the cat on the wing of the small plane? It was terrifying! For me, anyways, , the cat seemed to take it in stride.

I believe you can, I only have the one device, but, I am burning through my MBs, already used about a third of them. I'm only on FB, to upload my pics and CC. I suspect other apps running in the background are eating all my minutes. Anyone care to tell me how to turn off that other nonsense that I never use anyway? I'm wondering when I use up my MB's, can I relog in as the second device and get another set of MBs? I doubt it, I think I'm supposed to be sharing them with my roommate. I'll see if I can buy another package. I've got so much more to say, and pictures to show, but, I'm limiting myself. :(

May I ask what type of camera you have? It takes amazing pictures!!

It's the photographer, not the camera, baby! :D It's a Canon SX600HS, it's red! I don't want or need anything more than a camera that fits in my pocket, I think I do OK with it.

Just for comparison, here is the last totally zoomed picture I took of the blimp last night. Blurry, but, still recognizable.

And, then, I immediately unzoomed all the way and took another picture. Can you see the blimp?

And, now back to the previously typed portion of this review.

Sunday- a day at sea

Hello, everyone! Is anyone out there? After I signed off last night, I sat down to look at the next day's paperwork and found this.

13124758_10208294298066797_9024503578599104449_n.jpg?oh=9fe07abf4ad3336dc8aff90f4257da8c&oe=57DDEC2C

Really, MSC? On the first night, you're telling us how to disembark? Enjoy your cruise on the MSC Buzzkill.

I ended up sleeping for 10 hours last night! A man on the elevator called me Rip Van Winkle! My steward had to resort to the oldest trick in the book, vacuuming right outside my door to wake me up.

! So, when you sleep late and miss breakfast , a good place for some caffeine and a nibble is the Caffe Italia Bar.

I got a Mokoccino and the pastries are free, so, I had 2 chocolate croissants. Yummy!

Even though we hadn't planned any kind of meet and greet through our roll call, there was a listing in the Cruise Compass for a cruise critic meeting, so, off I went. I was feeling a little chippier after that long sleep and no wine today. (YET!) :D

13173859_10208294217944794_6175932469260339181_n.jpg?oh=5d5b3ff8522de91b261aa891607059c5&oe=57E2DFD8

There was no formal meeting, food or prizes, but, about 10 of us sat for a while and chit chatted about our cruising adventures. Everyone was really nice.

After that, I decided to try lunch in the Black Crab, one of the two MDRs.

I had Tagliatelle Alfredo and the Paillard of beef, which was very tasty.

And, cheesecake for dessert.

While we ate, we could see a sailing ship off in the distance. Even zoomed in, I couldn't make out the name. It looked like the Wind Surf that I cruised in February, but, I believe the WS has 5 sails? Maybe I can get a better view of her from my cabin.

This could be the official logo of MSC Cruises.

This is the Piazza de doge or something like that, very pretty, if you're not falling into it headfirst. Look at the beautiful Italian Marble! BAM!!

13124553_10208294218864817_5237544915458212568_n.jpg?oh=33c6c24f53a534ba89c2b68c3d4852b8&oe=57A1ACB5

They sell treats there, very inexpensive.

All right, let's get back to my cabin and see if I can see that sailing ship.

13164204_10208294292586660_1021897818596235752_n.jpg?oh=3c43867ab02066599b89a7470291efdb&oe=57AAF89B

Ah, yes, there she is, the Onassis of the Seas, just a small, family skiff.

I was shocked to find this scene on my balcony.

Kitty! Were you expecting someone else? Look at her, tomcatting around while I'm off exploring the ship.

With that pale skin, she better use sunscreen.

Mike, Where is that diffuser supposed to be? I didn't see it in the logo shop, I thought it might be in Eataly, where they sell the pasta and sauces, but, it wasn't there, either.

I went to the photo shop and claimed my embarkation photo, it would have cost $22 if I hadn't prepaid my $15. I had to show my receipt to claim it, but, when I did, the man went and looked at a list of names on the wall to confirm it was paid for. Umm, so, why yesterday did you tell me I needed my receipt? I also confirmed it does have to be an embarkation photo, you can't just choose any photo from later in the cruise. I also saw a sign saying, buy 2, get 1 free, if that helps anyone plan their cruise.

I went to the casino to try to find out about the Casino Loyalty program, but, I could never catch the eye of the woman who appeared to be the manager, she was hopping from one dealer to the next, doing something. I'll try again tonight.

OK, that's it for me for now, I'll come back tonight with a recap. I haven't had any wine yet. Oh, no, wait, I had 2 glasses at lunch! :D

And, I'm working on my prosecco and strawberries now, I managed to open my prosecco without breaking the glass doors or losing an eye, although it did erupt onto the bed a little.

That's what I'm telling the steward, anyway. ;):D

It's a fragrance that was developed for MSC by perfume manufacturer Firmenich(http://www.firmenich.com/en_INT/perfumery.html) and Brand Sense. It is infused at low levels into the air-conditioning and detergents on the ship. MED by MSC bath and toiletry products are provided for Yacht Club passengers but MSC expanded the line to include diffusers,,body spray,,candles,,etc. which were supposed to be sold on all MSC ships.

Stupid camera! The Spanish Navy? Dang, are we at war? Can you get the MED stuff online? I brought home a bar of Lemon hand soap from the WS because it smelled so good. I'm just waiting for a good excuse to use it. Slinging prescriptions at WAG just doesn't seem worthy of it.
