Princess.com - Firefox Problems

Any experiencing a problem when accessing Princess.com using Firefox web browser? Mine locks up on both PCs running MS Windows 10. The web site connects fine using MS Edge web browser.

I'm still having problems. I haven't updated my Firefox in awhile, so the version of Firefox that was working a few days ago is still the one I'm using now. I haven't investigated if it's an add-on issue related to blocking ads, flash, etc.

 

My Firefox doesn't have problems on any other Carnival Corp sites I frequent.

I’m also having problems with Fire Fox and the Princess web site on my PC, my lap top works fine. I typed in “Mozilla Fire Fox Not Responding” into my search engine and found a fix, I guess there are a lot of people having problems.

Me too!

 

Started yesterday and still won't work today. Have the latest version of Firefox and using Windows 7.

 

Had to go back to using Internet Explorer for Princess.

 

Glad it's not just me.

No issues for me. I'm using Firefox v44.0.1 and Windows 7 64 bit. I used the search for a cruise and cruise personalizer features yesterday and this morning. It had been a while since I needed to access Princess.com, but I booked a cruise with my online TA yesterday. I sure do not like the new look of the cruise personalizer. With the current background and style I find it hard on the eyes to easily see your information. The white background and spread out the way it was for me is much better.

Hmmmmm, I did not realize my Firefox is not the latest (v46) at this moment. I wonder if the updated version has something to do with this issue? Mine (v44.0.1) seems to be working fine. Maybe I will wait to update.

Add me to the list of those not having fun with Princess.com and Firefox. Looking at Princess code and nothing jumps out to me.

 

Called Princess Customer No-Service and the lady told me I should take a computer class !! Unbelievable service. I have never had this kind of CS from Princess before.

 

Maybe it is time to move on to another cruise provider.

It's princess. Call back. You'll get a different answer.

Fix:

 

Princess now works on my Firefox. I turned off Hardware Acceleration.

 

Go to Menu / Options / Advanced / UnCheck "Use Hardware Acceleration"

 

Restart Firefox.

 

Good luck. I hope it works for you, too.

 

Hopefully Princess and/or Mozilla will change whatever caused the conflict.
