Take a look at the location and see if you can move to another that's not under some potentially noise spot.

I think both are ify, now I am not sure...

My only two options are 4550 under Casino, or 3134 under Dinning room. Dont know what to do.

I had a GS on Enchantment (8034) and you could hear them moving around the food carts. It sounded like they were rearranging furniture in the mornings. It was bad but not so bad because we are up early.

I am thinking with 4550 under casino I will hear slot machines going all night, but with 3134 under dinning room I will hear those carts after dinner and early for breakfast.

Ahhh this is so tough.

I've never had an issue under the DR - they shut down early enough and, if you're an early riser, the action won't start until you're already up. The casino, OTOH, is both loud and smokey. I think its a no-brainer - pick the 3rd floor. And quick, because you're probably not the only one making this decision.

I agree and that's what I posted but my reply simply disappeared when I submitted it. The buffet Windjammer has a lot more cart use early in the day and later in the evening so a GS under it can't really be compared to a cabin under the MDR.

Well I just found out why I still don't have a cabin assigned....

"Hello [name omitted]

We are currently oversold on the EN 10/14/16 sailing, we are offering the following.

1. Move the EN 10/21/16 in JS with a 100.00 onboard credit.

2. Remain on EN 10/14/16 downgrade to Ocean view and receive difference in fare paid and 100.00 onboard credit, and be upgraded back in case of cancellations on day of embarkation.

3. Cancel and receive full refund."

I don't like any of those options

While I feel sorry for you and agree that Royal Caribbean has been very unfair to you, in all honesty I am not surprised that Royal Caribbean would pull a stunt like this.

Late bookings and choosing a Guarantee are always a crapshoot.

Hopefully it will work out, good luck.

Still, Royal Caribbean took his money and a contract was formed. Royal Caribbean needs to admit its mistake and step up to the plate and make it right.

Alright let me correct the statement. First time ever as a grown adult in something other than suite.

I was a broke college student back in 2004 and 2005 we stayed 4 guys in those rooms it was packed and awful but in college you can sleep anywhere.

I also stayed in Balcony for a 2 night tester cruise on Allure as a grown adult.

Update

My TA spoke to supervisor, they are giving me a full refund and putting me in an OV which is only category not sold out.

They asked if I wanted G or H room. I had no idea what to pick, I chose G cause it was on 4th Floor while H was on 3rd.

Was this a good choice? Is there any difference between room size of G or H?

I must say I am impressed with RC I really thought I was gonna get stiffed 1 day out. Thanks for support everyone.

Under the circumstances, that almost seems fair. If they throw in a bottle of mouth wash so you can get the bad taste out of your mouth, that would make it fair.

We were under the casino one time. Very noisy- I would also pick under the DR

3134 OV is no longer available. Stuck with 4550 OV or an interior now :(

Oh dear. Did your TA not have any recommendations.

Time is of the essence.

Yeah he told me to take the G (4550) over H (3134) because it seemed like a better location and was priced higher so probably better.

I guess I will stick with it and see what happens. If I spend 3 sleepless nights I don't have much cause for complain it was free.

Guess I'll buy a beach bed or beach lounger to catch up sleep on Cococay (if we land there). Which is better location to food? Lol

Maybe you can get on the priority list for a cabana. That area has the best lunch. Suites get first crack.

Yeah that's plan but if I can't get cabana which is better?

3 or 4 on the sea wall. Right under the water tower. Close to bar, food, restrooms. 1 and 2 offer no privacy from the beach in front.

Oops, I misread the question.

Sorry, I have no knowledge of the new South Beach facilities.

We were on EN 8032 and we did hear noises from rolling carts in the WJ above. It was noise but really not enough to cause us a problem.

You must be a heavy sleeper it woke us

Most of the noise was early in the morning and we are used to this as SO has very early mornings, for the most part. We are used to being awakened at all hours and then going back to sleep. Most all Suite Cabins below Oasis class have something above them that makes noise that can be heard. Some rooms are below the pool and when they clean, you make be able to hear them moving pool furniture around and do maintenance.
