Rare POA1 Posted February 11, 2017 #28 Share Posted February 11, 2017 Finally found it. It is a charter - Gertrude Byrne Irish Charter. Always a treat. They, along with RSVP are the most boisterous HAL sail aways.

Rare rafinmd Posted February 11, 2017 #35 Share Posted February 11, 2017 (edited) Good idea Roy to allow for time in FLL ;) You don't have long to go to sail again :) Last year I was booked the end of January on the Crystal Serenity (out of BA), and the day I flew Baltimore got 30 inches of snow. I had booked a pair of Cunard transatlantics ending in Ft. Lauderdale and flew from Miami, seeing huge lines of people with cancelled flights at the airport counters. I was thinking of that when I planned this year. Southwest has about 6 flights a day to FTL while there are only 2 trains, so it was easy to decide to fly. Looks like the trickle of ships is starting with the Caribbean Princess. I wonder if Celebrity Summit will sail at 5 with the Eurodam holding until 6. Decent toots Caribbean Roy Edited February 11, 2017 by rafinmd Caribbean toots

Rare kazu Posted February 11, 2017 #39 Share Posted February 11, 2017 Do you want the HAL flag for sail-away? HAL flag? How did I miss this? How thoughtful you are, Kathi. We have the TOOT banner booked for our sail a way so far :) Right now, there's only around 30 of us and we will be well spread out (I hope) as we set sail to cross the pond. So, the more banners the better. the TOOT banner has been improved thanks to shrimpboat123's DH who attached ropes to it so it is easy to affix to railings now :)
