ChucktownSteve Posted May 6, 2017 #26 Share Posted May 6, 2017 Well, have you ever tried it? Pretty fun They used to do this on Royal Viking in the 70's and 80's;p I have no doubt it would be fun. I'm not worried about you or me. However I can't say that about the others on board. :p

Hawaiidan Posted May 6, 2017 Author #30 Share Posted May 6, 2017 Hey Dan , I can think of a few other things that might worth firing of the back of the ship! While not skeet, or recreational target fun, I had an email from a buddy on Insignia, as they transit the Gulf of Aden off Africa..... .They put on a team of US NAVY Seals, with their "tools" .....come on Pirates.. ." "surprise, surprise" as Gomer Pyle would say..." ;p

Rare ORV Posted June 1, 2017 #32 Share Posted June 1, 2017 So a week or two ago I was watching The Love Boat and Lloyd Bridges was the guest star. There was a scene where he was shooting skeet off of the aft of the ship. It made me think of this thread.
happy cruzer Posted June 1, 2017 #33 Share Posted June 1, 2017 So are you officially ancient if you remember skeet shooting while on a cruise? We had it on our first cruise on Princess to Alaska long ago.

Sabbycat Posted June 24, 2017 #37 Share Posted June 24, 2017 I don't think shooting things off the back of a ship is environmentally friendly. Perhaps, there are other activities that can be done that do not effect the marine wild life.
