Well of course, no email or phone call. I phoned them and was made to stupid. He was talking to talk to the retention team and put me on hold. I got cut off.

I then phoned again and spoke to someone else and again, made to feel stupid. They don’t use their own website for deck plans!! I just can’t get over that. Anyway, he was going to speak to someone and will phone me back in 2 minutes. Twenty minutes later he has tried to phone me but I had a back massage booked and not missing that for no one! Will need to try again tomorrow.

Thanks for the updates and sorry you are having to deal with this.

I hacked the URL for the Harmony deck plan webpage and got to a similar interactive deck plan for Symphony (this is different than the PDF linked from the Symphony webpage).

Although the cabins are not shown, it does list the Studio categories 2O and 2W. So I'd say that's encouraging.

Harmony -Link is in my post?

Ahhh, well that’s what was originally on RCI website until it changed last week with the up to date launch of the ship.

If you go on RCI website, they aren’t there.

My stateroom on Symphony of the Seas has disappeared! [emoji848]

I’m in an Outside studio on deck 4 in May and it isn’t on the new deck plans. Not sure where I’m going to be sleeping. Could be the pool deck.

Stateroom 4678 shows up on the following Deck 4 plan for the Symphony. Is this a FAKE WEBSITE?

It seems more likely that RC posted incorrect deck plans with the update then changed them? I expect if the original info is/was incorrect those of us with studios booked will receive some communication from them pretty soon with alternate plans.

Although it is kind of confusing from the 3rd party website version as to how one would enter those bottom 4 cabins, comparing the two, I would guess that it was an error from the person drafting the ship plans. Drawing blueprints works in layers, much like photoshop. If you were editing something, you might turn off a layer such as the cabins to prevent messing it up, intending to turn back on later. The only other change I'm seeing is the addition of the blue symbols, but it could have been to join all of a set of lines (like the outline) into one group. My vote is on the cabin still being there!

Erm, wind your neck in! I haven’t shouted at anyone and not said anything about a fake website.

I’m saying (if you read the rest of my posts) when you look to book something, anything, you would look on that website to get the most up to date information. On RCI website, it doesn’t show the cabins.

If I’m going to book a flight with Virgin, I’m going to go on Thomas Cook to look at flight deck.

Catch my drift?

I’m hoping so. They look great. [emoji4]

My cabin has changed due to recatogorization on the ship.

I’m now on deck 3 ocean view.

I need to go out but will explain more when I get back. [emoji35]

Ok, just come off the phone to a lovely chap called Roberto. ....... He has guaranteed me that I will be on the ship on that date on deck 4 in a studio but has put a request through to the head office in Miami to confirm.

Compensation for broken promise/guarantee.$$$$ ?

Suspect it was overbooked and US cruisers have been given preference!

Suspense is killing me - you should write a suspense novel.

With a gin and tonic in hand, let the story begin.

I phoned this evening and spoke to Robert. He told me to speak to my travel agent and they will be able to discuss, I told him no as I was meant to get a phone call by head office and not received it and want an answer today. He was only meant to put me on hold for 2 minutes. 17 minutes later and it went dead. Had to call again and spoke to a lady. I asked for Robert but she told me that he was busy but she would look after me. She asked if it was to do with my cabin changing to deck 3 instead of 4 and I said no, it's about my cabin not being on the deck plans.

I got myself so wound up by this point and asked to speak to a supervisor. Josh came on and explained that I need to speak to my TA. I said to forget that. I was promised a phone call and never got it, I was guaranteed a cabin last week and now that's changed so what is going on??

He has explained that due to recatagorization on the ship, those cabin are no longer available and I have been moved to deck 3 ocean view. If I'm not happy with this then I'm to contact my TA to get it changed.

I went through all the phone calls, being on hold, guaranteed a cabin that is no longer there and being made out to be stupid and look at other websites deck plans that I will be sending an invoice in to be recuperated my charges to call them, plus I should be getting something due to the hassle and inconvenience of the whole thing. Josh told me to send an email in to customer services, which will be happening.

I will point out that I'm not that bothered that they have moved me (though I will be asking to get it changed as I'm right below the casino which will be open all night), it's the fact that I was made to look stupid, being guaranteed something that isn't available, not receiving an email or call when I was meant to and being messed around.

Anyway, back to my gin and tonic.

I have not contacted RC and they have not contacted me. My reservation still shows Studio Deck 4. I suppose they will eventually move me too but my cruise is still one year away so I’m going to wait and see what happens. Thanks for the updates.

If you run out of gin try a cosmopolitan. So the question is do those cabins on deck 4 exist on Symphony or not?

All they can tell me is they have been ‘recatergorized’ and that I’ve been ‘upgraded’.

I feel downgraded with location I’m in!

No need to feel down graded. You will have more room in the cabin, It is a good location for getting on and off the ship at ports of call. I have never heard complaints on these boards of casino noise in deck 3 cabins on Oasis or Allure.
