So, Bong is now in Vibe during the day and Headliners at night? That's sure different than the Haven in September. Branco was filling in for the Cowboy at the 5 o'clock somewhere bar then. Make sure to say hi to the Cowboy. I'm sure he's back at the outside 5 o'clock somewhere bar now. Enjoying your review.

I had to purchase a 30 minute internet plan for this next segment, so I'll try to make it good...

When we left off last, I was one of the final passengers on the last tender from Grand Cayman. I made it back and showered off, before shot'o clock in Vibe.

I will have to make this quick, as the internet is not cooperating now that I've paid twenty something dollars for a half hour.

When I awoke today, there was an announcement that there was a medical emergency on board, and we would need to divert to Cozumel to debark the passenger.

I knew that it would be a sea day anyway, and made the proper preparations...

Who did you work with at NCL to put together the bar crawl? I sail on Saturday and I've been in touch with Ivi to organize the Meet & Greet, but she isn't super detail-oriented and she said that NCL doesn't help organize any pub crawls onboard. But she also said she couldn't provide me with any dinner or drink menus because "they change every week" [emoji849]

Our cruise critic meet and greet was supposed to have an epic bar crawl today, but only about 12 people showed up... Either way, great fun was had by all...

Bong was in the Vibe when Rommel was on vacation. Rommel returned two weeks ago and Bong was reassigned. Vibe is now Rommel, Vincent (Curly) and Michael.

In Nassau today, so I'll go ahead and lay down a few posts while I have a good phone connection... Yesterday was supposed to be GSC, but due to the medical emergency it was a sea day... Mostly spent in Vibe drinking, and around the ship eating and taking pictures...

Lunch was at Food Republic, and was awesome as usual...

Dragon roll.

Baja fish tacos. Great as well, but a bit small for four bucks..

And, the star of the show, brussels sprouts with bacon miso... A definite must try.

My beverage of choice was the Toro Toro. Patron silver with pineapple and lime, and some kind of spicy salt on the rim...

Like I said, it was a lazy day, mostly filled with drinking. Update on the Party Patch. It seems to do something. I had around 14 drinks on Wednesday, and felt no ill effects the next morning.. (Then again, I am a professional...)

More shot'o clock at Vibe...

Last night's dinner was at Cagney's, and was pretty great.

Just an aside on the Cagney's situation. On boarding day, the menu laid out at the reservation desk at Headliners, the tomahawk steak was there. At the regular reservation desk, again, the tomahawk steak was featured. I was excited for this, as it had disappeared from the menus earlier this year.

Anyhoo, when I arrived at Cagney's last night, there was sadly no tomahawk. I inquired later with the F&B manager, and he agreed that it has been gone for a while. I informed him about the "rogue menus" floating around, and he assured me he would track them down and dispose of them...

Now, on to the food porn! Crab cake. Great.

Shrimp cocktail. Great as well.

Since my beloved steak was not available, I opted for the closest thing I could find. The bone in veal chop.

Going back in time just a bit, to Tuesday... After sunning and funning in Grand Cayman, and several drinks at Vibe, I went down and donned my long pants again for dinner at Le Bistro. I had a Platinum voucher to use, which includes one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert.

I began with the fruits de mer, which was quite good...

Next on deck was the filet, medium rare, which was also very good.

Finally, my only dessert of the week at this point, the Napoleon. It was great, and I'm not really a "dessert guy"

Today, I've mostly been walking around Nassau. It's a bit cloudy today, and I had planned to possibly get a day pass at the Melia on Cable beach. However I just wandered down to Junkanoo beach, then back to a little Caribbean restaurant in a back alley. The Pepper Pot, kind of a dive, but decent enough... I had the whole fried snapper with rice and peas, cabbage and mac n cheese.

The star of the show was the sour sop juice. A bit spendy at $7 a glass, but a unique flavor.

That pretty much sums up my day here so far...
