Linda the Book Lover Posted February 21, 2018 #678 Share Posted February 21, 2018 Any photos of YC1 18002? I want to see if you can be seen on the balcony. In 18001 the video looked like passengers coming from the YC pool area could go downstairs and see you on your balcony. Thank you.
sidari Posted February 21, 2018 Author #679 Share Posted February 21, 2018 Linda ... I have just watched the video of 18001 and cannot see what stairs you are talking about, there are Cabanas directly above you on the deck plan with no stairs to be seen. Linda the Book Lover Posted February 21, 2018 #680 Share Posted February 21, 2018 Linda ... I have just watched the video of 18001 and cannot see what stairs you are talking about, there are Cabanas directly above you on the deck plan with no stairs to be seen. It is just the outside area and this time I saw no steps. What in the world did I see? Not only that if I sitting down, no one can see me. Yikes - I knew I should not have had that second glass of wine! I appreciate your taking a look for me and now that I know no one can see in I am fine. I almost switched to deck 16 so it would be just cabins above us but we are going to stick with the starboard side since it is already booked and I am not sure if I want to change. Abaddon Posted February 22, 2018 #681 Share Posted February 22, 2018 Anybody got any pictures of 14179 interior cabin? When I booked in 2016 it said it accommodated up to 4 passengers, but when I look now it shows it accommodates 2 passengers?

When I booked in 2016 it said it accommodated up to 4 passengers, but when I look now it shows it accommodates 2 passengers? You could be screwed if you need 4 beds. Our cabin from two weeks ago was a 4 person when we booked in Dec 2015 but it ended up being a 3 person and no one ever contacted us beforehand. If you are aware of a change get on the phone and talk to MSC to see if they can switch your cabin.

Rare eroller Posted February 23, 2018 #685 Share Posted February 23, 2018 MSC finally got around to changing the pic of the YC inside suite on their website, at least the US version. For a very long time the cabin was depicted by a rendering of a YC Deluxe Balcony Suite, confusing many and probably pissing off quite a few people that expected a cabin that large. So what did MSC do? They now have a pic of a YC Inside Suite, but it's a wheelchair accessible cabin which is much larger and better appointed than the standard YC inside. Again this will confuse people and create false expectations. When will MSC learn?
Two Wheels Only Posted February 23, 2018 #686 Share Posted February 23, 2018 When will MSC learn? Is it some sort of sick game for MSC to show things on the website that aren't correct?
sidari Posted February 23, 2018 Author #687 Share Posted February 23, 2018 You do have to wonder who they employ to actually do this !
hummer88 Posted February 24, 2018 #688 Share Posted February 24, 2018 we are in a fantastica balcony room 11111 with two children, does anyone know the layout, makeup of this room? Is the bed next to the balcony or the door? Is this couch a pullout or bunk bed or a pull down form the ceiling?

weejasser Posted February 24, 2018 #691 Share Posted February 24, 2018 Has anyone got any pictures/experience of interior cabin 15046? When I booked it was listed as a 4 berth however the latest deck plan indicates only a 2 berth cabin. My TA has asked MSC and they said it was a 4. I have this nagging doubt that the land based msc call centre has got it wrong.

Unless I’m looking at the wrong one, their UK www is showing a 2 berth https://www.msccruises.co.uk/en-gb/Discover-MSC/Cruise-Ships/MSC-Seaside/Deckplan.aspx Where in their UK www are you seeing 4?
