Hi Radio,

I just want to join the countless others & thank you for sharing you vacations(s) with us.

I'll be on the next anthem cruise this Sunday, so it's been exciting to get a preview of things to come.

Truly hope the seas calm down quickly. Enjoy you coming sea days-always a fav of ours.

I love following your review. Thanks

If you get a chance can you ask Dennis when he will be getting off the ship? I will be boarding shortly and sailed with him as CD in November and enjoyed him. I haven't been able to find the specific date for the new CD.

Hello everyone and good morning . . . Welcome to DAY 7 of“LIVE” from Anthem of the Seas. We are current heading north toward Cape Liberty. The weather today is still very windy. It is currently cloudy but the skies should clear later today. We are rolling with wave heights 4-6 ft. There has been significant motion since we left Nassau, but the ship is handling it very well. I have been on Cruise Ships that headed up the East Coast manytimes, and the movement is nominal. This movement is more than we had going south but is expected.

The Shops will be open all day and I want to distance myself from DECK 4 anywhere near the mayhem that will occur during these sales. Casino Royale continues to be very “Radio Friendly” but I don’t think I will make it to the 2400 point Free Cruise plateau. I still want to try the Bumper Cars and make it to the SeaPlex Dog House. My Coffee Card has shown to be of value during this sailing ($31+Tip) It has been delightful to consume freshly brewed coffee at La Patisserie, Windjammer, and TWO70 Lounge.

Hmm . . . may try to make it to the Body Sculpt Boot Camp this afternoon . . .

Here are a few pics from this morning. Thanks for tuning in.

Radio,

Can you do me a favor? If you have a chance go by room 8646 and see if the bed is located near the balcony doors. I have tried to figure it out with info on CC but haven’t been able to. Not a bigger if you don’t get to it (you are on vacation) 😀

If anyone else knows feel free to let me know.

Thanks

Nikki

Nikki cabin #8646on anthem has bed by balcony. I just checked onthe cruise deck plans website. It is totally worth the 2 or 3 bucks a year to check out many things on ships. There is a video of your cabin looks nice!

Got it thanks ! We have 8644.

Every other configuration. So that means the bed's by the bath in your cabin.

on the port side, the every other reverses, meaning directly across from your cabin will have bed by balcony.

This plan also works with celebrity Solstice class.

Great, we like it better that way anyway, more room by the slider.

Hello everyone and good day. Today was full of relaxation. It was a day to relax in the Solarium. It is one of the quietest public areas of the ship. I was able to calm down and let any stress dissolve. I was able to consume a lovely Americano (very freshly brewed of course) and work on editing a few videos. There was a chance that I may have caught up on the events in the day’s news.

The indoor family pool was also busy, but it was very noisy. It appears that the favorite pool for families and kids was the Indoor pool. The Main pool outside on Deck 14 wasn’t used much today. It was windy for much of the day and the sun came out a few times for a few minutes. I think there may be over a dozen lifeguards onboard, and they seem to only guard in two hour rotations for each pool.

We are currently off of the coast of NC/SC State line. . .The winds have slowed down considerably, and the Captain suggested that weshould be at Cape Hatteras by morning. I had a very nice dinner with some Cruise Critic friends this evening at American Icon. Tonight was formal night and there was Lobster on the menu. It was very tasty and the waiter decided tobring all of those who ordered lobster an extra one. For some reason it as verynoisy in the dining room tonight. I can guess that it may have been that it was Formal Night that attracted many morefamilies and kids.

Here are a few pics form today. . .Thanks for tuning in.

Hi Radio,

Thanks again for sharing your vacation with us. such fun! I wanted to ask about your coffee experience, as I do love my french press at home, and find it hard to match at sea. How has the coffee been in the concierge lounge? Is it the same as what I've had in the diamond lounge? Is their a difference with what you get for purchase on the coffee card?

Hello joaniet. . . It is the exact coffee in the DL and CL. The Coffee Card will let you have a Frappacino (several flavors available), Espresso, or Americano. I will post the menu tomorrow.I think there may be a few others. You can also use the Coffee Card in Windjammer Coffee Bar or TWO 70 Lounge.

We are on the Feb 9th Anthem cruise and have early reservations each night for MTD. Is the other line for those with reservations. Had the lobster in December and it was very good.

Anyone want to wager if the guy in shorts got turned away on formal night?

Haha. . . He didn't get turned away. They didn't turn away the dozen others who thought it was okay to wear a baseball cap on formal night.

Hello, I’ve just booked the above cruise for end of a March. My wife and I are looking forward to dressing up “formal night” in Tux / Long Dress, however will be look overdressed on this cruise?

Second question, we would prefer the later dining option of 8:30pm however most of the shows run at the same time! How do we get around this? Suggestions please [emoji6]
