Maureen ... What you describe with the photos is also done with the Gala night photo taken with the Caption, you cannot just buy the photo as is comes in a folder with a ship picture.

Ah, thanks! I know you are an MSC expert. I didn't do gala night, so, no photo for me. I wonder if Divina still lets you buy the one photo?

Hey M,

Excellent review -- love the photos! Speaking of photos, I see almost zero difference between your inside cabin and the one we had in the Yacht Club. I think they list different square foot numbers to make it seem like you get more in YC, but I would guess they are identical. We disembarked the Seaside a week and half ago -- first time for us and it was wonderful. You are a very funny person -- keep it up!

Enjoy!

Hmmm, well you get a balcony, too, right? And, a lot more service. Do you have any information on the pillow menu? Other than googling it, I'm not sure where to get that info for the person who asked. I have a Facebook friend who sails Yacht Club exclusively, I might have to outsource that question.

I'm still wondering how to find out the number of slot machines, other than counting them one by one?

I will find out tonight how much the chocolate books are. Maybe I'll buy some of the loose chocolate, too. Not because I want it, but, for science. Yeah, Science!!

Maureen,

We have the deluxe drinking package and knowing the chocolate is included in the package made me take a second and third look at your chocolate pictures...They had a Wine guy that gave presentations and you could sign up for a wine making class and take home the bottle of wine you created, do they have one like this on the Seaside......Thank You

It WAS included in 2015 when I had the package, I don't know about now, check your details. They keep changing the drink packages, they came out with something new, Drinks on Us, as I was heading to the port, I'll have to see what that is all about.

I remember that wine mixing class, I haven't seen anything like that posted. That wine bar was fabulous, with the little cheeses and olives, etc, they would give you...

After breakfast, I went to the Billiards Room to drop off my answer to the question of the day. I know what number Europeans are superstitious about and it's not 13... ;)

This took me through the Haven Lounge, which was the gathering point for the tenders and this was not a happy bunch.

IMG_0946-M.jpg

This was after three hours of tendering, it was 10:30! All aboard was 3:30!

I decided then and there to skip Grand Cayman and work on my review instead. It wasn't worth it to mail a few postcards.

I wanted to get out of Maria's way, so, I set up shop in the Sports Bar, next to a Bill Russell signed basketball.

IMG_0947-M.jpg

Speaking of Russell, is it just me or should the middle spot, the one that is slightly higher than the others in the top row, go to the team with the most NBA titles or the team with the second most?

IMG_0948-M.jpg

Hummmmmph!!

Yuck... This is one of the areas where the Yacht Club differentiates itself.... Sit in lounge with a cocktail until your Butler leads you down to gangway.

Do you mean Rhonda, LOL?

Yes that's the one!

I just about died laughing at the looks she gave you that you actually captured and the video after the Cozumel Bar Hop was hilarious. She acted as if she didn't know you at all.

One of these days I hope to be on the same sailing as you, there will be two red heads in action! I could never keep up to you though so I won't be the fun police I may just collapse before you!! It would be fun trying though..

Looking forward to more of your fantastic review, I though we were going to lose you to way more exciting things happening on board to keep you away from entertaining us the peanut gallery.

Thanks for returning..

Hi M, Nope no balcony -- the only way we could afford the YC was in an inside cabin. The perks are unbelievable and we loved every minute of it, but it's a good thing we aren't cabin people, because there was nothing special about our inside (suite??). Pretty much the same cabin you are in.

This is the chocolate snob with a huge THANK YOU , those pictures are way above and beyond ! Once you perform that scientific experiment , please let me know the outcome !

One more question if I may , how is the new cruise director ? We really loved Andre on the Divina and were sad to hear he moved on.

Again thanks for brightening my day with your review ! I'd love to buy you a drink ( or 2 or 3 )!

Poor, sober Rhonda.... I will post the links here, just to have some fun.

First of all - Loving your review! Love your sense of humor.

Quick question - The Beach Club that you went to in Jamacia - did you book that through MSC or on your own? We are looking to do something similar when we are there next year.

I booked it through resortfor a day.com

Yes please, do this after Cozumel and take a video of it while you are at it..

I just may try that, of course, you're not supposed to take pictures in the casino. I could hide it, though....

Andre! AKA Frasier Crane!! Where did he move to, I was expecting him! Stephen seems nice, affable. The girl Candise is kind of an odd duck, though. Oh well, it takes one to know one. I'm gonna go buy some chocolate...

i din't try it, i'm guessing that's euros per 100gm? 100gm is 3 and 1/2 ounces, i have no idea what the exchange rate is, assuming you're in the us? When i had the deluxe package, it included chocolates, i came home with a bunch... I'll check the price of the books.

thank you.

Following along too. Never met you Maureen but enjoy your past reviews and current cruise posts. I AM surprised that CruiselifeRick and Yorkvillain have not popped in to comment. Enjoy Playa Mia Maureen. Can't wait to hear all about it. Using "What fresh hell is this?" when things don't go right from now on. :D:DHungry for pizza and mojitos.....
