Bliss - Live 4/21

I will simply say that he was escorting his mother on this cruise at her request. She would light up when she saw how much we all enjoyed his company, and they’re both excited for a repeat on the Encore.

That's lovely :) The photos of Will turning up everywhere made me smile too... and I'm sure I'm not alone. :D

Thanks again for taking us along.

Now I'm off to dig out your Escape Lives to read ... 80 days to go till I have the pleasure of sailing on Escape and your reviews were partly responsible for that booking... not sure which ship will be next at this stage... Bliss or Encore probably.

I have not commented one time this entire review; however, I was following along every single day. Like others have mentioned, it was almost like I was on vacation.

It is awesome that you had a great time and cruises are so good for meeting wonderful people.

I met several amazing people on cruises, one of them which are from a small town not far from Rochester (Wolcott).

Anyway, I am cruising on the Bliss on the PC cruise next March, and I cannot wait!

Thank you for the photos and the descriptions of what you were doing, eating, drinking and participating in.

Just wondering if any of your casino cronies would post about the casino, the variety of slot machines and if anyone was lucky enough to hit a jackpot/handpay. Will be boarding the Bliss 6/2, and I will raise a "toast" to you both.

There were quite a few handpays the first couple of days. It killed me because the first two were on Dancing Drums (which, BTW, gave me nothing over the entire cruise!) - two Grands ($10K+): one on a $1.76 bet and the other at an $0.88 bet!!! Another guy hit for over $13K that same day, betting max, on bonus spins. A lady I know hit the Grand and Major on Lock-It-Link early in the cruise and there were a few other big hits (one or two on Heidi with 84 bonus spins) but nothing for me.

They are all new machines. I prefer the old 88 Fortunes games, but they only have the new ones. Lots of variety, something for everyone. If you go over to the other review place, there are even some videos and pictures of the casino (shot before folks were informed not to shoot video or take pictures).

I know someone asked earlier about some specific machines and I apologize as I really meant to ask a slot attendant and time got away from me. Even if they don’t have your favorite, you might find a new favorite.

This was not a winning cruise for me, but I recognized over half of the dealers and supervisors from other NCL ships, and I did have a lot of fun!

Nancy, thanks for sharing your experience in the casino, sorry it wasn't a winning cruise, been there done that. Did you get a chance to go into the "smokers" section, and if so, was it tolerable or horribly smokey? Best of luck on your next cruise.:):):):):)

He doesn't deserve y'all! Thank you both for a great review! It was (almost) like being on vacation too! I couldn't wait for the next installment of Doug and Sue's Excellent Shipboard Adventures. And then Will pops in and makes it even more hilarious!!

I would love to work up the courage to do a TA with you lot on the Encore... that ocean though.......

Thanks for a fantastic cruise-a-long Doug. Along with many others, (as quoted above) I enjoyed seeing where Will would end up next. :) He made me smile too!

Will seemed like an inside joke that didn’t make any sense to share in this review.

If you bothered to read the actual review, Doug said will was the orderer of shots so when you seen him you knew it was on... Makes perfect sense to someone who reads the actual review.

Or that's my take of it

I think Will was one of the best parts of this review. Always made me smile when I saw pics of him smiling and waving. Seems like a fun guy to be around.

I am so sad this has come to an end! I have never sailed NCL but will be trying Bliss on the 5 day coastal at the end of September. I have LOVED reading this review and have followed along since day 1 - now I am SO excited to cruise NCL (and I was really not sure beforehand!)

Thing is, I totally want to do this Encore one everyone here is talking about - my issue is that I have 2 kids. Will they ruin the fun? Hmmmm.....

I would love to do a TA on the Encore, might have to try & figure it out for next year! [emoji4]

A) Not a review

B) Not an inside joke

Cutting through 6-7-8 and heading to A-List for a drink. And of course it’s Will across the bar. This young man has destroyed just about every one of my past 9 mornings. It’s impossible to spot Will after 1 AM without shot glasses suddenly appearing.

Thank you! That helps. And thank goodness not everyone who has used the word “review” has been corrected, or this POST ON CC ABOUT THIS HERE SHIP would stretch even longer than the unnecessary quoted pictures. Thanks again, Doug, for sharing this experience. Love it!

1. Sorry, mom. I thought I had. I’ll try to do better.

2. Not a review.

Doug and Sue - many thanks for sharing your time, talent and vacation with all of us. I always look forward to your stories and pictures. I know it is an extra expense and takes time, but please know how much enjoyment it brings to those of us that follow along. Can't wait for your next adventure! Most of us would love to have the opportunity to sail with you someday.
