A parting shot at the art critics from early in the review?

 

This thread has me seriously considering a March 2019 Caribbean trip instead of Allure the same week. With drinks included it’s actually cheaper. The only thing holding me back is the early departure from Tortola and the Nassau stop, but I think I can live w/that.

Doug and Sue. So I was awake last night at 1am knowing the ship was sliding into NYC thereby robbing everyone of a daytime arrival- bummer. I thought of getting up to see if I could find a webcam of NYC, but then I knew ya would be up taking photos.

 

I am on the May 10th cruise which means I now get to fly to Miami and see her and enjoy her for 3 more days than you.

I only wish I had joined the roll call but it is too late now.

Thank you so much for all the info, pics and especially for the entertainment!! This is the best thread I have ever read and I had so much fun reading it. I booked the December 8th cruise while on the Escape in February and last night booked the November 3rd LA to Miami. Now we are thinking about the Encore TA. NCL should pay you to take that cruise with all the people you have convinced to book both ships. Hope to run into you and Sue on a future cruise and hope you have a speedy post cruise recovery. Safe travels!!

There’s a bittersweet story behind the legend of Will. Without permission to share it, I will simply say that he was escorting his mother on this cruise at her request. She would light up when she saw how much we all enjoyed his company, and they’re both excited for a repeat on the Encore.

 

We’ve joked in the group that there should be “I Survived Will” t-shirts. Maybe next time.

 

We’re now back home in a blooming Rochester, NY. I’d like to thank everyone that followed along, and for the kind words that have been shared.
