waiting for all of the "i only booked this ship for the laser tag" posts.....
I only booked for the laser tag. Will they give me my money back when i cancel if I cite the 'nickel and dime' clause?

It is $9.95 for two games. It was $5 per game before so it is the same price but now when you book you are booking two sessions at $9.95 total cost, so technically it is the same price but the force you to do two games.

Ncl can charge what they want. They are a business - their obligation is to maximize profits for their shareholders. If people stop paying - then prices will be lowered - if the activities still are jammed prices will go up. It is a business not a charity.

Hello again fellow CCer's,

As the original post we made, we just noticed the laser price increase on the NCL

site, as we were making all our show and dinner ressies before they are sold out

as previous posters have warned.

We put a post from Bloomberg News that confirms that NCL is the leader in

ASC than other lines. (Added Service Charges).

We have watched the ASC's go up weekly on the Bliss, and as they are still

rising from week to week, we are just relaying the info for our fellow CCer's.

Other than the Laser Tag, Carts now $29 pp all day pass. $99 for unlimited.

According to our long time friend and NCL rep, Jorge Cruz, they only have

40 spots available for this and told me to board the ship ASAP to make the

ressies. I do not think that will happen. I have a special needs son who races

at Malibu here in Tampa all the time. He passes almost everyone and never has

had a wreck. If he can not race we will have spent

our $4k for a six day cruise (before all nite in the casino), as he will be very

upset and not understand why it is sold out. Please read reviews from CCer's.

Moving on: Many cruise ships have theaters for 2k folks, NCL Bliss 1k for

4,700 people. ?

Thermal Spa we wanted to get for my wife and daughter.

Was 189pp then 219pp, now 249pp... plus Andy and Frank's 20%

convenience fee. Oye Vay. Won't be doing that.

Shows booked up, Cavern and Social hold around 125 people. (4,700 guests)

Guy Fieri's and Johnny Rockets are very crowded, but complimentary.

If we take our family for a Burger at JB's it will be $60 plus our ASC.

Love Jimmy Buffet, he threw me his guitar pick here in Tampa years

back at a free Obama for President concert at a stadium near the Hard Rock.

We have seen him in concert since the 70's, back when you couldn't see the

stage at times from all the young Parrot Heads , those were the days.

We are true Buffet fans, but will head to the local for our burgers.:D

Atrium posts advise to get a seat an hour early as with other venues.

Prohibition goes up weekly at this point. No signature White Hot Party.:(

Garden Buffet folks cruising for a seat, many reviews about this.

Please take the time to read all of the reviews before responding to this post,

as what we are informing you of is a group of eye opening comments from

our fellow CCer's. Just booked a 4 dayer out of Tampa for $234 total

plus port charges for two 47" window on RCCL. Yay!

Can't wait to let the Flamers to fire away. United we Stand, Divided we fall.

May your Seas be flat, and your tummies be fat.

I'd rather be a cruzin' than a workin'.

It's always 5 O'clock on a ship.

:confused:Hello cafe du monde,

Makes me hungry just to think about that.

When we went on Oasis and Mariner, Johnny Rockets was NC.

Now it is ala carte, so you are very correct. Very reasonable prices tho.

If JB's was ala carte it might not be so empty as CCer's have posted.

Not a big deal, just think its a little stupid for NCL corporate leaders.

Hope Jimmy helps out in 2020 as he did for Hillary at a free concert

in St, Petersburg in 2016. She won by 3.5 million votes. (all bused in of course)

Thanks so much Jimbo.

I'm a son of a son of a sailor and we used to live in a trailer...

Why don't we go on a cruise and (dot dot dot) as in Mama Mia. :D

Hope you all have a great cruise folks!

Take care,

Yes, for lunch or dinner, cover charge varies ship to ship, but $9.95 pp on Oasis

Johnny Rockets is only complimentary for breakfast on Oasis class ships. It’s never been complimentary for us for lunch or dinner on either Mariner or Oasis (and we sailed on Mariner on her inaugural season in 2004). It is only al a carte on Quantum class ships, a set cover charge still applies to all other ships with a Johnny Rockets.

OP....I have read a couple of photo reviews in these threads that pretty much said the ship and cruise were wonderful.

It doesn’t matter to me one way or the other as I’m not booked on the Bliss (yet). When the furor dies down on sailing on NCL’s biggest and best, I’ll look to see what bookings look like (maybe 12-18 months).

But, in all frankness, it sounds like you don’t like the ship before you set foot on it. Don’t make yourself miserable. Book another ship or another cruise line that you feel might be better suited for you.

I’ve always liked NCL (and RCCL and MSC). But, to constantly come in to whine about a cruise you are about to take makes no sense to me. If you don’t like a cruise, why whine about it? Book something you think you will like that has a different pricing structure that fits better for your budget. I don’t expect to pay the same price for a cruise that doesn’t offer all the “bells and whistles” as some of the cruises that are more traditional (and basic).

For example, I know up front I’m going to spend more sailing on Harmony of the Seas orange the NCL Bliss than I will on Grander of the Seas or NCL Dawn respectively.

Try companring the price of going to Disney World vs your local County Fair? Big difference as Disney has much more to do, therefor much more expensive.

I'm passing on the Bliss and Encore because 1) it's overpriced and 2) they took away a lot of the free activities and replaced them with things like these go karts that I have no interest in.

Agreed! Its why I chose a Getaway cruise for my January vacation and not Bliss.

I haven’t a clue what you are even trying to say. I think you are on the wrong forum. Guy Fieri is a Carnival thing. 🤐
