You might want to read the thread title again...because you are not correct.

The thread title that I see is:

FL proposes Beach smoking ban, will Royal follow lead?
It's not about a complete ban on smoking everywhere in the state -- just on BEACHES.

Read post #2. Also regarding vaping as Florida voters overwhelming voted to ban vaping in ALL indoor areas.

Regardless of the thread title, we can go off course until Bob decides to lower his mighty wrath upon us 🙂     IMO and partially off target, if only 15% of the casino users smoke, there is the others who just hang out there as a smoking lounge.     I've seen chair police, but no smoking police in the casino.

You do bring up a good point and it's on point as this thread does address indoor smoking in post#2.

While smoking in the casino does not bother me (I'm a non-smoker), I do hate having to ask the non-gambling smokers sitting at my favorite slot machine to move. Often times, I'll just wait to they finish and they leave. But it seems there is always someone each night that uses the casino as a smoking lounge, sitting hours on end, and never gamble.

Most will apologize when I do ask them to move over but a few times, I will get an annoyed attitude thrown back my way.

Yes it seems the Casino has turned into the indoor smoking area.  I see people smoking while the Casino is not open. Florida voters voted YES to prohibit vaping indoors. Vaping is smoking.

So when you boil water and get steam (water vapor) is that smoking too?

It’s not just water in a vape smoke. Water has no smell, vaping does.

Two quick ways to spread sickness is by hand and by sneezing/water vapor. People who think its ok to vape in an elevator are extremely selfish  or living in Denial.

Wow, did you see someone vaping in an elevator?  Every ship I have been on that is prohibited.

Only once, I believe that was before Royal made an official statement. It was early on in the "vape" history,  On the same vacation, we were stuck behind someone in a airline jetway waiting to board.   I saw the same guy sneaking puffs the whole flight.

Prohibited means nothing if there are no bite to the punishment. As stated here already, last April in the CK, a cruiser was vaping at dinner next to us. Crew asked him to stop. As far as I’m concerned, they should have been fined and or kicked off the ship.

Maybe first time cruiser, now they know.

I am a vapor and my dislike is sitting in my corner of the pool smoking area and someone walks by and makes a rude comment.  I had a women sit next to me and complain about the smokers.  I held up my device and the response was not that. THEM.  really.

I am where the cruise line has designated I should be (like it or not) and don't care for the harassing remarks. And it is harassment, so maybe toss them off the ship.
