Does anyone know the cost of the drink package on the Anthem 11 day sailing and also if both in the cabin need to purchase?

You would need to log into the cruise planner to get a specific price for your sailing. It rangers between $46 - $67 if purchased online. Yes both do, but you can call the 800 number and they let one purchase the refreshment package instead.

If you purchase the package and later see that the price has gone down, you can simply cancel and repurchase.

My Anthem sailing in April is currently $46.  I have seen it as high as $52.  I check everyday : )

That's strange.  They usually have drink packages up way early unless they are looking at a major price increase for next year and are not sure how much.

Royal has never struck me as being reluctant to raise prices.

We are so far out, I will keep watching for it.

We originally booked the MSC Seaside but them switched to the 11night Anthem.

No flying, no hotel the night before.

Will be very different leaving from the northeast In January ☃️

Leaving from Bayonne in January, you are brave.

 

I would probably be in full winter gear (e.g., scarf, maybe snow goggles, etc.) for the sale away.😉

 

I would still think about a hotel the night before if snow is predicted.  However, since I am assuming you are driving you don't have to decide about that until you get an accurate weather  forecast.

We are about 3.5 hours from port in Western Mass.

I believe we will take Yankee Trails cruise express down from Albany.

I understand where you are, I have been on day trips to the Berkshires.  I never knew there was a cruise bus from Albany.

From what I have seen $46 is a very good price.  $56 is more common.

We also took a motorcoach shuttle to the Cape Liberty cruise port for our March Break Anthem cruise.

 

But we were a good sized group and had a great time on the bus.

We have driven to Bayonne from western Massachusetts 3 times. It beats flights and those different hassles. Anthem and a Explorer Twice. Great easy in port with parking right there. I would definitely take a bus if available. 

Actually we did take a bus to New York City for a NCL Dawn 14 night repositioning. Easy peasy.

We recently drove to Baltimore just in February for 12 nights Grandeur. Another great port to cruise from. Driving to the ports avoiding flights and delays and changes is a nice option. Third day out is nice weather. Tip for Anthem book I fly for first day and you might be able to go twice.
