If Cruise Critic sold name tags.......

Would you be interested in purchasing them? I'm thinking that CC should sell name tags with their logo on them - the cheap peel n stick type that we could write our names on for Meet and Greet get togethers on our cruises. What do you think? Paul

It's actually a good idea that one could print up on their own computer with preformed name stickers. Hope you don't mind if I suggest it for my upcoming NCL Star cruise where we have over 30 Cruise Critics meeting and greeting.

Yes because I just returned from the Victory last Sunday, and didn't get to meet the cruise critic members. They didn't want to wear specific color shirts and the meeting was between 12:00-1:00 so everyone showed up at different times.

There is actually a template on the Royal Caribbean board for name tags that you can download and print off. Unfortunately for Carnival cruisers, they say Royal Caribbean!

I think I'll just wear a 'Snoopy' t-shirt like my avatar.. if someone sees me the first day, and doesn't like the person in the shirt by sight, they can ignore me and walk away (like most people), except for my Sweetie.

On the other hand, I'll be easy to identify!

JMHO but I hate those things.

 

Every chance I get to fill out one of thoes "Hi, My Name Is..." idiot tags I usually fill in something like "none of your business", "a big secret", "Charlie Antisocial" or "Brad Pitt".

 

I prefer to bumble through life knowing faces but not names.

I agree with Tom and Chris on this one. No way would I wear a name tag. I hate going to business meetings where they stick those silly things on me. Also as someone else stated, it makes you look like a tourist.

Wow. I had no idea people felt so strongly about name tags.The reason I asked was because I've always been terrible at remembering names when meeting a large group for the first time. On our Triumph cruise we met a fellow CC member who we would bump into virtually everyday. My wife and I thought his name was Chris...well , on our last night aboard My wife and I and "Chris" and his wife got together to compare notes on our cruise. We had a great time with them and still keep in touch with them, but imagine our embarrassment when "Chris" told us his name was actually JIM. Anyway, thanks to everyone for their input. Paul

It was easy for our on line buddies to find us and we have a souvineir from the cruise.
