Are HAL beds as good as Princess

I love the new beds on Princess.  I always take my own mattress topper when I travel...I custom made one from latex foam to fit Princess beds.  Didn’t need it last time.  I’d rather not take it again when I cruise if I don’t have to.

 

Has anyone tried both the new beds on Princess and the new beds on HAL?  How do they compare?

I'm curious about this as well......thinking about sailing the new HAL ship looks like great entertainment venues and nice.

The beds on HAL are one of the only things they do better than Princess!

Back when Princess had bad beds, HAL had wonderful beds. I haven't compared HAL's beds recently but I wouldn't worry.

the HAL beds are truly awesome.  The new Princess beds are good, but not like the HAL beds.

Just finished cruises on the Caribbean and the Crown, followed by a HAL Zuiderdam cruise. I felt like Goldilocks.... the quality of the bed improved with every cruise! CB bed was ridiculously soft, Crown slightly better, and the Zuiderdam perfect!

We hated the new mattresses on our last 3 cruises on HAL.  They were this new type -- all in one.  No separate box springs.  And they were low to the floor.  Hard to get out of them with bad knees.

My two most recent cruises, December and January of this year, were on Royal Princess and Nieuw Statendam.  My beds on both ships were more comfortable than my older mattress that I have at home.

Totally subjective. Some will say HAL has the better beds, some will say Princess. No final answer.

It's been some time since we've sailed Princess, but we have found HAL's beds to be very comfortable -the recent sailings even more so.

Haven't been on HAL for a couple of years, but I remember them being quite comfortable. 

On Princess last year, and they were, as well.  But as a previous poster stated...it's subjective.
