The extreme heat continues...I am drinking Campari and soda to stay cool.  I would drink apperol, but it is over the classic limit....which is rediculous.  Food continues to be good.  Ayce sushi $34..apparently cc discounts don’t apply, but I’m not sure the folks will asked actually knew.  Lots of special (fee) dining events....drink tasting...wine tasting.  The push for additional revenue is getting annoying.  MDr staff is great....select seating really is working well.  Almost too hot to go on deck....we sit on our quiet balcony.  Elite 5-7 and classic package both work smoothly.  The usually don’t even bother to take your card...just your stateroom no.  Casino remains somewhat busy...usually someone at craps...a table or 2 of blackjack and live dealer Texas Holden...I haven’t seen anyone at roulette.

martini bar always busy..but always seats.  Reflection bar (deck 11) is usually almost empty..I guess most drink outside...but the heat....

Buffet on 10 lunch....Thai soups last two days....wonderfully spicy.  Indian lunch today was great...no need to pay for the Indian dinner.  They are clearing tables so fast that if you take the last of your meal on a fork, they may take the plate before that food reaches your mouth.  Do not put down an almost finished drink....a hand will appear 🙂. Seriously though, they are cleaning tables very quickly so you actually can find seats.  I’d bet that half the ship doesn’t know there is a pasta bar, a pizza bar and a grill where they can get a steak or grilled fish or chicken for lunch....all in the very rear of the buffet area. Finally, the cakes look wonderful, the names sound wonderful...but they really aren’t very good..sad, but true.  Fruit is very good though.

Desole if translations is hard to understand I use Reverso

as much I can understand spoken English as I am unable to write without using tractors

thank you for answering my questions in English and French

I want to say that your French is perfect, I am very far from your level in English, I very much appreciate your effort

Amicalement 😉

Une française, future croisiéristes célébrity 😇

Your quote made me think of a Mad Magazine comic where a gentleman in his 40's was ordering in a restaurant and the waiter says "I appreciate your ordering in French, sir, but you have just requested that I bring you an oven broiled tractor."

The heat wave continues...almost too hot to walk around.  Magician last night was incredibly good.  Select dining continues to work well.  We lost toilets and hot water yesterday for a few hours....but all is well again.  Casino very busy last night...blackjack and roulette. No surprises to report.

Thanks for the info.

Our first Celebrity cruise was on the Connie last fall.  We enjoyed it very much; everything was perfect!  We stayed in a Sky Suite and enjoyed all the perks it had to offer.  Sailed from Rome to Barcelona.  I thought the ship was in really good shape.

We enjoyed it so much, we are sailing next year on the Reflection.

Was there an explanation for losing hot water and toilets?

The aging M class ships  are a concern...Thank goodness you did lose  A/C..We had that a few times on the Infinity

Good Lord man. Ask your grandchild how to use the thing. Or read the online manual. Look at the top right corner of your screen. See the + right under the time? Touch it and a new screen opens. Type what you need into the search bar.

The ship, of course, is a/c.  Also the breeze cools things down a bit at night so it’s more comfortable after the sn goes down.  It’s only hot when ship is still or you are walking during the day.  Today, we are going to Herculean...open sun....

Thank you for highlighting how hot it is. We board the Connie in 3 weeks and although are used to the Med in August, it seems to be a particularly HOT one this year. Luckily this is meant to be more of a 'chilling' cruise so not too many things planned. I had decided not to get off in Athens and see on another post that the Acropolis was closed one day because of the heat!!

Martini bar update....noisy space now due to canned music.  Bartenders lack energy. Additionally, the selection of vodkas has gone down.  Absolut elix which is listed as on the premium package isn’t available.  Most of the more expensive vodkas have disappeared ...very disappointing.

Herculenium was bearable...fair amount of shade to hide in.  Too hot to walk around Naples and it’s sunday so we’ll just do this pm on the ship
