shamrockace Posted December 19, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 19, 2019 We will be in San Juan January 9th on the Allure from 7 am - 1 pm ship time. We want to do a 2 hour excursion independent that starts at 10:30 and ends at 12:30 San Juan time, right next to the ship. Does the time stay the same for ship & island? njkruzer Posted December 20, 2019 #3 Share Posted December 20, 2019 Are sailing out of an east coast port? If so you can be an hour behind. Confirm with the tour company that they are on island time and once you know what the ship is doing make any adjustments you need to. Keep your watch on ship time so you know when you must be back on time.

killtheump Posted December 20, 2019 #5 Share Posted December 20, 2019 Ship time will be one hour behind San Juan time. So if it is from 10:30-12:30 San Juan time, your tour will be from 9:30-11:30 Ship Time. Allure Cruise Compass November 3,2019 cruise had us stay on Ship Time not Island Time. Sorry, but that is not always the case. It is up to the captain. And can change from cruise to cruise, even on the same ship, and with the same captain. WeMissSeaView Posted December 21, 2019 #14 Share Posted December 21, 2019 Last week on the Oasis, the Oasis stayed on ships time. The Anthem that was there the same day, was on San Juan time. I know that because we met up with friends on the Anthem. They called us asking where we were when we did not show up at our meeting time.
