Defo do not like weird or horror, too much of a wuss 😀

After life is more of black (very black) comedy. Its also i think about redemption. I think the writing is fantastic, the music is good too. But certainly the first series is hard going in bits and lots of swearing 🤬

It's about a man who's love of his life dies from cancer and how he struggles to go on. Written, starring and produced by Ricky Gervais

Ricky Gervais is pretty much the reason why I'm watching it.  I like most of his stuff.

I’ve looked at “Archive 81”, it’s on my list after part one of season 4 of “Ozark”

I actually didn't think I'd get into 'Archive 81' but my stepdaughter insisted I'd like it after she saw the first 2 episodes.  We watched the rest of the series together.

I love Ozark, one of my favorite shows. I'm going to try to NOT binge watch so I can stretch it out.  Maybe 1 episode every 2-3 days.

Although, once I get sucked in....

I have a hard time spacing shows out.  I watched two episodes of Ozark last night and I’m about to start the last one, episode 7. Now I just have to wait how ever many months it is for the last seven episodes.  I hate that they split the last season into two parts, but at least there are seven more episodes to look forward to.

Apple+ releases their episodes every Friday for their shows, so I have no choice to space them out and watch weekly.

Last morning, we chilled by the pool at Sails in the Desert (Lots of Sturt Desert Peas in their gardens) before our flight home.  Recommend a visit to Uluru if you ever visit here. We thought it was magic.

Magical is almost good enough. I don’t know of a better superlative!

Thank you so much for showing us a fantastic area of your wonderful country.

I wonder if they even started filming the second part of the season?

I don't have Apple TV (yet) but it seems like the good, old fashion days of network TV - having to wait a week to watch an episode. Who's got that kind of patience? LOL

Yes, first time for both of us.  for some reason it wasn’t on my radar until my daughter gifted me airline tickets for Christmas.  Honestly it’s one of the best holidays we’ve had.  Yes, pumpkin & feta.  Very tasty.  Sounds like you did a lot on your trip.  Hard to fit everything thing in.

People don’t realize what a very large country you have.
Trying to see it in a week or even two means leaving so much out.
It’s like when one of my German cousins who was coming to the US with his college roommate. They had a little over a week, so expected to take a motor coach to visit Orlando and Daytona Beach Florida, Washington DC, New York City and Niagara Falls, Boston, Chicago, San Antonio Tx, Los Angeles and San Francisco.  He wrote all of that to me, and asked me to add whatever else was worth seeing.

That’s what I was meaning.  Mount McKinley was the “English” name given to it and Denali is the original “native” name.  Ayer’s rock was the “English” name given to the original “aboriginal” name of Uluru.

But Congress was supposed to name the mountain Denali and got the whole thing backwards.
They were supposed to name the island San Juan, and the area with the harbor Puerto Rico…Rich Port.

How's the weather?  Looks like it may have been a bit chillier going down the coast than our sailing.

How many on board?

1900 onboard.  Yesterday was dismal. Today near 80 and Captain says it will all get better from here.

I have to stop eating, I have been too full🤪Am a whopping $10.00 up in the casino!

Did you cross off everything after Washington DC? 🙂

When my German Aunt & Uncle visited the US the first time - this was back in the early part of the 70's - we took a family trip from our corner of New York, the suburbs right outside NYC, to Niagara Falls. Took close to 8 hours. They were amazed to be still in the same country, never mind the same state, after that long of a drive. They laughed when we told them the states get larger the further west you go.

Now these are a couple of fun facts that I can't wait to work into a conversation sometime down the road.

She is also a huge fan of Ozark and we were supposed to start watching that together tonight. But she decided to spend Saturday night with people her own age.  The nerve!!! 😇🤣
