I'm loving everyone's Q's. The Glaciers and ice-bergs are incredible. I'd love to see them up close but we absolutely could not stand that type of cold.🥶

We called at Reykjavik on Arcadia in 2012 but didn't take a single photo in the city or port, as we were out all day on the 'Golden Circle' tour.

So I'll just post a photo of the geyser that we saw - I could have watched it all day

IMG_0632.JPG

We were exactly the same on Aurora in 2018. Loads of photos from the Golden Circle and not a ship in sight.

Thanks for the replies re the cold weather cruises. We will have to go on one of those one day.

I will look out some of the other photos I have.

Rhodes (Lindos), you can just see part of a larger ship at the side. Cruising had never entered our minds when this was taken.

I think you have been to some very unusual place and would love to go to some of them. Fantastic photos too.

Naples, Disney Ship.

Sorry another few going a long way back to Gibraltar. I don't know how people can say that the big ships are crowded. Arcadia is packed, I've never seen so many people on the ships we have been on.

Back to the Qs. Only have Quebec, we have been there twice and were supposed to go again this month. Not many with ships but thought I'd post a flavour of the place. The ship's bow is from Oriana in 2018 when higher tier members of the Peninsular club were invited to cocktails and a roped off area for us to watch as we sailed into Quebec.

Finally from me, Rijeka, Croatia. We docked in an industrial port on a Sunday when everything was closed. We were advised to do a trip as nothing was open so plumped for the smallest town in the World - Hum. All two streets of it reached after a long and boring motorway drive. You could see all there was in about 5 minutes. Wish we could have been there when Rijeka was open as we might have been more impressed. The port we were in was the ugliest I have seen of any of the ports we have been to.

Oh my word!! I've eaten some weird and wonderful things during  my far eastern travels, but I would have to go vegetarian in Iceland or starve. Rotten Shark? Minke Whale? Horse? and all washed down with a glass of Black Death🤢No thanks, I'll pass

What a day that was! I was on Arcadia. In fact I am probably in your photo, as I was standing at the rail on the port side of the ship
