🎂🎂 2 years ago today . This lovely blue hulled beauty embarked on her premiere sailing of 14 days across the pond.

        I wish I could turn back time and start that voyage all over again.

Thanks for posting this reminder.  It had not occurred to me.  I sailed on her 5th or 6th cruise.  Everything fresh and new; some different from the other HAL ships; more the same, however.  

 

2018 seems to be so very long ago with all that has transpired during these two years.

Our first cruise since the pandemic will be on her, March 2022.  It will be our first time on this ship and I'm really looking forward to it!

We're booked for Feb 23rd, 2022 to celebrate our 10th wedding  anniversary.  Can't wait!

I sailed her twice in her maiden year.  Once I was Chaplain and before that I was a passenger. I hope to go again in April as a passenger.

Having some titles and/or information on those pieces of art would help.  What in the world was the artist that created the statue of David holding a cell phone trying to say?  Just as one example that I still vividly remember.

If you're asking where that is, it's Grand Bahama Island, more than likely the Grand Bahama anchorage where a lot of ships went to anchor last spring. AIS currently shows her off Great Stirrup Cay in the company of eleven other cruise ships, mostly RCI, Celebrity and a couple of Carnivals
