Finally booked a new cruise!

Recommended Posts

Gday all,

Booked a cruise on Ovation of the Seas 12 night to NZ in Dec 2022.

After a cancelled Voyager south pacific cruise the DAY before Ruby Princess pulled into Sydney.

Hoping to be able to use FCC as the deposit?

I feel better now I have a cruise booked.

Cheers

Craig

Good on ya Craig. We decided to book something different when our January 2022 Auckland to Sydney 14 night became less and less likely. So we're staying in North America for ours at the beginning of September 2022.

Cheers 🍺

Good plan,

we were planning to be in Hawaii for my wife's 50th in Dec 2021, not going to happen...

thanks guys.

hopefully far enough away that all is OK by then.

Has anyone used FCC as a deposit?

Cheers
Craig

Yes, also with Princess. I put a hold on the cabin I wanted then rang Princess who applied the FCC to the booking.

Good luck Lois.  Australia's borders should be open for overseas visitors by then.  Which ship and itinerary?

I think that one has pretty good prospects, but I guess if this pandemic has taught us one thing, it is that anything can happen.

You are correct, nobody knows anything 100%...well, around here, death and taxes are a given but that's about it.

Hopefully things will be much better by 2023!

Thanks Lois  That is a great itinerary, so hope it comes off for you.  Hopefully by then, Aussies will be able to cruise on cruises to Aust from NZ.
