Are Casino Offers Tightening up?

Be interesting to see if Casino Offers are changing or is today’s new offer just unusual blip on the screen?  We were booked on 6 day Horizon for 1 August on a Casino Offer but in looking at another offer it seemed like it would make sense to check and see if we could shift to 7 day Mardi Gras on 31 July.   We checked first and found all our hotels and airfare bookings were refundable and airfare cost to fly for us in MCO was not only reasonable but still great Direct Flight times. We went from a Havana Inside on Horizon to Havana Balcony on Mardi Gras for about $700 more.  So we got a new offer today and it had a number of cruises but all seemed much higher then past offers.  In today’s they included the Mardi Gras trip on 31 July so we did the math and compared pricing on the 2 offers as well as perks.  We saw that they increased the Casino Bucks to $1,000 on our new offer vs $500 from the offer we booked with yesterday and the same category Havana Balcony would have required another $1,000 above our $700 we purchased at yesterday.  So we thankfully pulled the trigger yesterday instead of today and saved ourselves $500 and ended up with a much better cabin.  .

This new offer had a number of Cruises listed but all seemed (without) doing actual comparative research to be much higher.  I taking $500 to $900 per person or more with normal casino perks and $1,000.  I am glad we grabbed a few Casino Cruises order the past 40 days just in case this is the new normal.   Let me know what you see,  are Casino Offers start getting tighter or was this just a blip?

If you're looking for a Havana balcony only those are the priciest cabins besides suites.

We just booked a balcony cabin on the Sept 4th Mardi Gras sailing fully comped on an Elite offer, including free drinks everywhere for 2,$500 Freeplay, transfers and all the other Elite cruise benefits

I have a pile of casino offers but only two of them had free drinks everywhere on board.

That I figured is an amazing deal so booked two cruises for that.

I haven't gotten anything new but all the current offers expire June 26th/July 6th....

My casino offers have been really good lately and I have to hold myself back from booking more...LOL  2 booked currently:

Jan 2022 Oceanview cabin on a 7 night Mexico on the Panorama with $200 OBC, $500 in Funplay, and Drinks Everywhere on board for me (my total booking cost for 2 people was $435 ) and;

April 2023 Aft- Extended Balcony on a 9 night Great Barrier Reef on the Splendor with $300 OBC, $1500 in Funplay and Drinks Everywhere on board for me (my total booking cost for 2 people $550) This one I just couldn't pass up!!!  Great Barrier Reef has been a bucket list trip, and this offer makes the airfare cost and journey worth it. Will plan a few additional days on each end to extend our time there 🙂

I expect to see the casino offers tighten up once cruising officially resumes, but hoping they keep em rollin' in!!

I have 2 casino offers booked.   One has free drinks in the casino,  my hubby also has that offer so will he also get free drinks in the casino ?

Only if you talk to them. You can print it out and show the casino host he qualified, but he isnt the one booked with the offer.

Go to oceanplayersclub, com and fill out the form Verify Casino Offer.  You will get a response in a few days.

I received the $100 casino interior cabin offer for the Magic this October which i accepted and added the next cruise for a BTB free casino drinks and $100 each person return as OBC. I also got the casino offer for 2022 BTB TA on the Pride and Celebration $500 OBC for each cruise and free drinks.

Some offers say for just you  and others say  a guest, but have also talked to my pvp, and she said that if both get the offer than you should both get it, you might need to call carnival and get it in writing.

i had alot of sailings cancel but the offers i got were pretty decent.. 500 freeplay drinks anywhere in the shiip and onboard credit...i got two similar offers and each offer i was able to book 2 cruises each.. i have 11 cruises booked all casino

Can I just jump in with a selfish question?

How do you know you could book 2 cruises each?

The reason I ask is I "thought" i booked two FJ7 deals (Jackpot - Free Suite, $500 Funplay and Free Drinks Everywhere), however when I emailed the Casino to confirm for my 2nd cruise the response said:

"You have also qualified for a Drinks On Us Card which can be collected at the cage on the first night of your cruise.", nothing about it being everyone on the ship.

Kind of annoyed since my first cruise I booked with that deal is Iceland/Scotland/etc. and we aren't going to be on the ship enough for me to really use it, but Caribbean in December is a different story 🙂

I emailed the casino about my FVO deal, which included the drinks anywhere on the ship, they responded with you have qualified for a drinks on us card everywhere on the ship which can be

collected at the cage on the first night of your cruise, so check your email, and if not there email the casino again, because I have three cruises booked with the drinks anywhere and they are all valid.

Thank you for the quick response.

I hope it works out for me.

I just want to say thanks to K_e_short  for sharing information (on another thread) about having the ocean players club verify your booking offer by e-mail. I appreciate having a confirmation e-mail from them in writing verifying the comps since they do not show on the booking information itself. I'd never thought about it before, but then again, I never had casino offers quite as good before...LOL

I REALLY enjoyed myself on my last big cruise before COVID (a 16 night Hawaiian) and clearly the offers I'm getting now reflect that...hahaha

They were super quick to reply too as you said... I had my response back in 2 days!

Please report back.  My wife and I have the same situation.   Figured I would just talk to the host on board but it would be nice to line it up ahead of time.

I sent an email to oceanplayersclub, com   gave them all my info, then in the comment i gave them my hubby's info.   They got back to me very quickly , this was the reply.

Hi Carolann,

  • 3 weeks later...

I booked casino offer for Aug 1 Horizon, but buying the alcohol package as I want a drink anywhere and not just the casino 🙂 It was an amazing price for balcony. Last trip I was havana, this time just took regular TBA Balcony as I didn't see the rest of the ship since I stayed in Havana and casino last trip.
