Mate at the moment I could not get on my roof, flat out surviving. Could not even chase a Cougar up there.   As for the Princess Medallion, are they worth anything on E Bay? lol. It is the black one. - 21 Princess cruises.

I recon we could build a artificial reef just outside of Sydney heads for the recreational fishing.

Wow bands ,Medallions straight over the side as we leave sydney.

Royal have opened up the Vancouver to Honolulu cruises September and October 2024.

Brilliance, Ovation and Quantum.

Quantum is a lot more expensive.

Hong Kong doesn’t show a Quantum port booking for October 2024.

Darwin has still got 24 November 2024 booking.

Brisbane season starts 1 December  2024 for Quantum according to Brisbane Ports.

Chilli thanks.

Looks like Royal will need a replacement port for Hong Kong on Spectrum and Serenade in 2024,

I’m surprised Boracay isn’t a port that RC is interested in .

From what I’ve been told Japan is selling very well with Spectrum.

Guam is probably ant possibly.

Most of Royal’s high tier Oz cruisers are doing Spectrum to Japan.

Have you ever been to Guam? I did a lot of diving in my younger days and Guam was the main hub for Micronesia diving.

Guam is kind of cross between a small Waikiki  and a big military base and a rural pacific island.  Not really a tourist destination.

I remember sitting in a American fast food restaurant and the Islanders where riding a water buffalo through the drive though to get their burgers.

That was the most memorable thing in Guam, a real clash of cultures.

It looks like Anthem will be bumped out of NY by Odyssey.

I thing it’s going to L.A.

Hey Chilli,

To LA by what route?
BTW, Navigator is much better than Voyager was when she was in Australia.  I have been on board for 10 days.

Probably finish in Europe and through the Suez . If it happens.

Just been a the Captain’s corner on Ovation and the Captain said Royal is in the planning process of building a class of smaller ships !!!

They will be between the size of Radiance and Voyager.

No real sense on Lelepa, he thought 2026-2027 ?

How was Mexico on Navigator?

I hope to get there next year.

Love those 2 classes of ships but slightly favour the Voyager class more.   They both have promenade decks - Voyager inside promenade and outside.   Hope you are enjoying your cruise.

They need something about 300 meters, the big ships are good but the are limited where they can go.

Ship, crew and ports have all been good.   Recommended.
Nav would do well in Australia.

Geoff did you notice anything different for the short cruises?

Nothing out of the ordinary.  All port calls carried out as per itinerary.
We didn’t see any security issues. There are some Mexican Marines on guard around the ports.

I would like to do Navigator.

I like to spend a few days somewhere to get over the long haul flight and I think a B2B would be a good way to do it.

If Anthem left Southampton 14 October 2024 and did get redeployed to the Pacific it would be virtually be in Darwin 24 November 2024 and Brisbane 1 December 2024 to fit into that Quantum bookings.

I think it’s a possibility. Royal seems to be consolidating itself in its bread and butter market, the U.S.

They could pull a Radiance class out of Alaska and deploy Anthem there for the season. Then do a switch with Navigator in LA over Christmas.

Ovation and Navigator in Sydney, Quantum in Brisbane .

Interesting

The maximum length of a cruise from Brisbane 24/25 appears to be 8 days.

Most are departing on a Friday,.

It is certainly a Oasis Class schedule on paper.

Apparently Noumea is getting 50 ton bollards which is all that is required for Oasis class.

Villa is interesting how Quantum class is doing so many overnights.
As someone said they probably have  a legal agreement with Lelepa to have so many stops in Vanuatu.

I know Oasis class aren’t supposed to tender but the resent tender I had on Ovation  in Vila  went very well and wth a bit of work on wharfs. I think Oasis could do it.
