VIPF Updates - I'm Laughing...

Is anyone else getting "VIPF GUESTS UPDATE" emails every couple of hours leading up to a cruise? Every time I see the email letting me know I can pick up one bottle of water I start giggling...

We sail 12/19, and so far I've only received one of these e-mails.  Just gets me more excited to cruise!

I am receiving daily emails telling me I can get COVID test at the cruise terminal for $100 per person.

yeah I'm on the Sunrise in a few weeks and the emails are starting to pick up... the email I want is for another great offer on the cruise after this one 😁

Covid sucks but I am making the most of it with these great rates...

Honestly I wish they had sent me a message every day I was on the ship!  We completely spaced and forgot to pick up our waters at all!

My neighbors and I were just having lunch (they leave next week) and they were laughing about getting blown up by stupid emails like that.

Yes, those are a touch annoying. Thought it was just me as I have two cruises booked and my cruise partners are new/don't have their VIFP setup to their own email.

i got one daily the entire month of oct & nov for my sept cruise...smh!  never even got anything for the oct one.  can't ignore any carnival emails though, what if one turns out to be the we miss you with a great rate 😁

I wish they would have told the bar staff we could pick up our large water bottle from them (just joking...sort of...). 

We have been on 4 cruises since the change in process, and every time the bar staff is either confused or irritated (and I get it, they are very busy).  I don't know if my timing is just bad, but none of them seem to be happy to be saddled with this extra task.  I even give a small tip per water bottle because I feel bad asking for it.

Didn’t have an issue on Pride.  Stopped one morning on way to gym for small bottle of water because I forgot my water cup.  He told me I had a free large bottle.  Yes I know but we are in a suite and have 2 there and will get my free one later(we were on a 14 day).  But your paying for a small right now.  Yes I am heading to the gym and left my water cup in room and don’t feel like going back.  But you have a free water🤦‍♀️.  I promise on my way back from the gym I will come get it but now I will pay for a small one.
So he was very helpful and willing to give me my water!

nope, have not received any, 4 cruises since Sept and one coming up in January

I’ve got a number of future bookings so get the emails a lot… the ones I like best this past week are those telling me about all the dining options and spa discounts on my Dec 2 Breeze sailing. I mean, I get that it’s an automated process, but how does the if this then that process not include whether or not the sailing already ended?

I sailed on the Vista December 11th and I am still receiving emails to book shore excursions, spa, etc.

These are a lot less irritating than the daily phone calls about my cars warranty!!   😬
