We received an offer of $150 each in casino money. I can’t find anything about it on Princess. When I search threads here, it bombs out.

Can someone point me to details? The fine print on this offer is teeny tiny, and I’m no longer able to read 4 pt. font.

I have no idea why we qualified, or if this is legit or trap. Ty.

I received an email ( title is sail and play)today from Princess re :Casino offer. $99.00 cruise fare starts at and $100. Onboard credit.( can not be used in Casino) Email came from Princess players club.

Rarely gamble on Princess Cruise,so assuming they are sending out emails to get people onboard?

i have no cruises booked, I don’t care to mask up on vacation.

Sorry I can’t help much with the fine print as it seems our offers are different.

My email was from Princess Players Club and the headline box inside is "sail & play".  I don't see any casino money - just the $100 OBC.

To me it appears as though they are offering bargain price on IF, BF, etc - the very lowest category and then the other prices may be higher than without the offer (say you wanted a B or A category).

So do you still have the paper that you got in your cabin, but you just can’t read the fine print?  how about you use a magnifying glass ,how about you make a copy of it and make the print bigger ?  I’m assuming you’re asking because you’d like to book a cruise with this offer . If you gambled quite a bit on the Enchanted,I am assuming you have a players club phone number you could call them .

Here's a copy/paste from the email we received a couple weeks ago. We did book a 5day on the Discovery for $99/pp and received $100 each OBO.

Hope this helps!

Because I’m sure everyone’s offer in their email will be specific to them.

Not really the way it works.  The same thing goes out to a selection (large it seems for this one) of Princess customers.  The offer codes are also coded to your Captain's Circle Member Account so when you log in, you see the best offer for a voyage when shopping.

I have never received a casino offer before this one yesterday.  But I am wondering if the guests who regularly get offers would say this isn't a real casino offer since there is no money for casino play and it only gives deep discount to the very lowest of cabins.

If your offer is directly from Princess, it is legit.   The free play will be on your medallion which you will use while playing (I only do slots ,so this pertains to those).  You will then see “ free play” and “ bank” when you  sign on.  Any winnings go into bank.  Always use up your free play before going into your bank

Yesterday’s email casino offer was not at all like my frequent ones. Ie:35-45% off and OBC

If it's one that you received at the end of a cruise, you should see the amount when you sign into Princess.com and look at the Onboard Credits section on the Future Cruise Credits page.  I was going to include a screen shot but unfortunately the website isn't letting me in right now.  The book by and sail by dates should be shown next to your free play on the webpage but it should also be on your CBS letter.

Princess has one of the most disorganized gaming marketing departments I’ve ever seen. It’s completely normal to receive multiple offers, some with, and some without any casino credits, all at the same time.

At one point last year, I had an offer for free balcony $1000 casino credit and Princess + included, another offer for free balcony no other perks, and a third offer for free interior, with $100 credit.  Oh, and an offer for 30% off a stateroom.   I’m assuming that last one wasn’t a Casino offer.

worst part was, when I had to call in to resolve an issue with my booking, they couldn’t find the best offer.   I had to dig up the mailer, and send them a copy to prove that they had sent it to me.

the only way to tell if it’s a Casino offer is to check the fine print and see which telephone number they direct you to.  Any Casino offer will direct you to the Casino reservations number.

To the OP - another option (which I use because of my failing eyesight) is to take a pic with your phone, and then zoom in on the pic.  If you have a decent cell phone handy, it’s much easier than scanning the doc on a printer/scanner.

Also, check out the Magnifier App in the Google Play Store (probably in the Apple Store too).

If you were aboard a ship and got this in your stateroom on your last night of the cruise, it is intended to get you to return and cruise within a given time-I have three from our cruises in November and each has a different amount of "free" play-That amount will depend on how much you gambled (Not lost but actually gambled-Easily tracked on slots). They also have a very short "Book by date". i.e. we got off on December 12 and book by date was January 26---New cruises only. If this is what you got, I can read the small print on one of mine and let you know 🙂

If this offer was an e-mail or an e-mail attachment, just select the text that is too small and copy it (Ctrl C).

Then paste it (Ctrl V) into a word document. Once there, again select the text by highlighting it and change the font size to once you can easily read.

My husband got this offer, and I have cruise on Hold for it in April.  We've never been given one of these before so I'm not sure how they work.  Rates of $99 and $149 just showed up when we logged in, but we never got any offer emailed to us.

Does anyone know if you book one of these fares along with Princess insurance, will you still get the value of the trip in a credit to use for a future voyage if you have to cancel?  Husband has mobility issues, and booking the cruise gives him motivation to work on PT.  If he doesn't feel like he can make it by April, we just want to make sure we don't lose our money if we book the insurance.  I realize we can get him a scooter or bring his transport wheelchair if we absolutely have to, but we'd prefer to wait and travel later if we had a choice.

We were able to take advantage of this for a short cruise on the Royal next month.

We'll get a total of $400 OBC; $300 from the casino and $100 for shareholder.

Made the decision a no-brainer. Long weekend at sea. Nice.

Apologies that my attempt at dry humor about the "fine print," went over like a lead balloon. I promise that at 55, I know how to magnify text through a variety of techniques. 🙂

I am trying to book this today, and was told that I will only get $75 obc when the offer really says 100.  I am asking my travel agent to push it a bit futher, but the princess rep says its only 75... I am not going to fight such a minor difference but it is frustrating
