Free Casino Cruise?

Is this just for those that spend a substantial amount in the Casino??

In 2019 I was choice (although I spent time and money in the casino on every cruise, not super high amounts) and I was getting some free offers. Then since the restart, I have had nothing (in fact I haven’t even had an email from the casino since March 2020), even though I was in the casino daily on two cruises in November. But others say the offers have not stopped but have increased.  I’ve been trying to figure out the logic that they use for these things and cannot. 🤔

Well that explains why my husband doesn’t get great offers, but spends a lot of time and money at the tables.   And why I have never gotten a single offer (dont have the patience for slots, have dropped some money  at the tables, but usually goes too quick lol).

That seems a little backwards from what they really want which is people with large minimums when the odds are In the casino’s favor.   I guess it’s a good thing I don’t run a casino since I don’t understand that logic

Slots are a guaranteed win.  All they need is butts in the seats. Tables are labor intensive and carry some risk and have a lower rate of return.  Why do you think casinos are full of costly slot machines and few tables????

I don't doubt your reasoning, but I also think the fact that they have $25 minimums and individual hands which often get over $50 each time at a large majority of the tables at night excludes a lot of gamblers.

So if I wanted to earn casino points, is it based on the amount I bet at slots or the length of time I stay there?  From a previous post they said something about $800 points.  Does that mean they bet $800 over the course of the cruise?  And then they got offers for a free 7 day cruise?  Maybe I can get some patience for that!  And it would be comical if I got as good of or better offers than my husband for betting such a small amount compared to him.

Go on line before you call Club Royale and check the cruises you have been offerred.  You can do a dummy reservation and see the cabins that are available for the category of your offer.  Choose the cabin you want and call Club Royale and tell them your offer code and the cabin you want.  If you are going to pay for an upgrade from interior to oceanview, or oceanview to balcony look at those rooms as well and pick your room number.  They will tell you what the upgrade will be.  The last one we did was from a balcony to a junior suite.  Both of us had offers but not the same one, so we used my cash value to upgrade.  If both offers you receive are from the same cruise the first 6 numbers should be the same and you can combine them.  There will be an upgrade charge in some cases and others you may just get the upgrade with the two offers.

This is exactly what I have been doing for the last couple of years as a prime member.

I have never done the redeem now option on the clubroyale website.  I prefer to pick my own cabin and we usually upgrade.

Have you been checking  clubroyaleoffers.com website for offers?

We have been prime for a couple of years and never received casino emails, always check the website.

Enter your last name and crown & anchor number.

Good luck!

Hi! Thank you for that. I did check, nothing. I don’t think I was prime when I got those, I think I was still choice, but they came fairly frequently. I’m just not sure why they did then and not now. That is I’m not complaining that they’re not coming, I’m just now understanding what the change was! I wonder if perhaps somehow linking my MLife account created a problem? I did email then (I called, but never got the promised response email), so we shall see! 😊

When you go to clubroyale site does it show total points earned?   If 1500 or more then you will be prime starting April 1st.    If no points showed for play then call Club Royale their phone number is listed on website.

800 points for a free inside right now.  On a slot you get 1 point for every $5 played.  When you put in a $100,  you will not get 20 points.  More like 50 or more if you are lucky 100.  I went to craps,  won $100,  blew it in slots repeat and went zero to prime for less then $500.  My wife did it in about $800 all slots.

normally with casinos,  your status is for fringe benefits.  Your play is for future comps.  So prime in itself does not guarantee free cruises.  Your play does.

However the cruise ship table comps are better then Land based casinos. I got 200 points from craps.  In atlantic city i would have gotten less then 5.  An hour at the $10 blackjack on the ship betting $10 is ten points.

i did it mainly for the free drinks 30% off internet and at least 2 free cruises and it paid off in spades.  I got all of that for less then $500.

Plus it was so liberating playing slots,  which IMO are a total waste of money,  at max bet and not caring if i lose,  just buying a cruise!!!!!

I have searched on casino info on several threads but am still confused on some issues, hoping the wise folks here can help me...  I hear about free cruises but don't really understand the process.  I would love to win a cruise!!!😍🥰🤩

We will be boarding Harmony this July and then Adventure in September so I hope to understand what I should do to better my chances at winning a cruise while not breaking the budget. 😁 We usually play roulette, some slots and some blackjack,  usually $25-$50 cash each night for each of us budgeted as our casino "entertainment" money.   If we walk away with winnings, fine, if not, we had fun. Playing with cash ensured we didn't lose sight of our spending while having a good time. I certainly never considered we could earn enough points for a free cruise 😂

But y'all have me thinking...possibly?

To hopefully receive the free cruise, I've read here that you must pay by sea pass card (not cash) so they can "track your play" (not sure what that means or what they are tracking specifically).  However, I have always been reluctant to use my sea pass card at the tables due to the 5% fee, as I'm sure the rest of you are...  It's been a few years since we've hit the casino, but I remember using my sea pass card at the slots for a few spins, then cash out and take the slip to the cage to get casino chips to then play roulette and Black Jack, thus getting around the 5% fee.  But I'm thinking Casino Royale then has no way to "track my play", right?  How would CR know that I spent those funds at the tables instead of cashing out so quickly and leaving?

Should I just stay at the slots so they can "track my play"?  I could do that...

When you gamble $800 to win the cruise (see earlier post), are you paying the 5% fee also?

Also what is FreePlay?

Many thanks!

Perhaps a subtle difference, but you do not need to "pay" with your Seapass.  You absolutely can (and should, until you acquire Prime status, at a minimum) play/pay with cash.  Just make sure that your play is being tracked and the only way to ensure that your play is tracked is to make sure that your Seapass card is swiped either by the dealer or via the slot machine.

As a general rule, slot play will pay off faster than table play b/c the method of tracking your slot play is not subjective, like it is with table play.  With slot play, your wagers are your wagers and they are all accounted for.  With table play, it is a subjective interpretation by the pit boss with input from the dealers as to your level of play and wagering.  Unless you are throwing BIG money around on the table, your wagering will likely be under represented.

Slots or video poker for your points.  Slots pay 1 point for every dollar gambled. Video poker is 1 point for every 10 gambled.  Max bet playing triple play jokers wild worked pretty good for me.  Its 3.75 a bet on 25 cents at max 15 coins.  Tables will cost alot more.

freeplay is what the casino gives you back in playable dollars on a slot machine only. At the end i had like $35 which i played and cashed out on last night.

i would suggest you go talk to the casino host the first night and see what the program is at that time.

I asked the host on our last cruise, which was 2 weeks ago. I am Signature but only had 20,000 points. I thought I had to get another 5,000 points by April 1. But he explained that for anyone that currently has a tier, it is automatically extended another year. He then went on to explain about people who did not have a current tier status, like Choice instead of Prime, will be granted Prime on April 1 if they get 1,500 points by April 1.

Awesome!  Just got Prime on our last cruise and was said that I missed 2500 by 120 points.

Make sure that when you insert your SeaPass in the slot that it's green, otherwise it will not tally.  In addition, some slots when you go into the bonus round it reverts to red and you are not earning any points.  Take the SeaPass card out and reinsert.

Never knew this !!  I don't play slots so I guess I just never noticed.  Kinda sneaky, eh ?

It is not "gamble $800 to get a free cruise". You need to gamble enough to get 800 points. As another poster stated, points are earned by playing slots or tables. For slot machines, play $5 to get 1 point. For video poker, it is play/recycle $10 to get 1 point. I do not know how they calculate table play.

Thanks for the info!  So how do I swipe with my Sea Pass card and then play using cash?  Is there an option that I should select when swiping my sea pass so that my credit card is not accessed for casino play but the cash I use will be?

Wow this is good to know!  If you take your Sea Pass card out and reinsert,  won't it end the bonus round?

You will either tap or insert your Seapass (depends on the ship and the machine) and then insert the cash into the cash slot.  Really very easy to do.  Just don't forget to remove your Seapass from the slot (if it is a machine that requires the Seapass to be inserted) when you leave.  It's a complete PITA to have to go back and retrieve your card if you walk away before removing it.

We just got off the Odyssey and to our surprise both my husband (tables) and myself (slots) received over 1500 points and will be prime on April 1.  I read on the clubroyale site that certificates for our free inside cabin will be available on April 22nd.  What will the date on the certificate be?  Free cruise from April 1 2022 thru Mar 31 2023 or will it be dated from April 22nd for one year?  Will it be for an interior on ANY 7 day cruise or only their selected ships and dates?  It always seems that their selected ships and dates don't align with what I can use, lol.

You will need to book and sail by March 31, 2023. Good on any cruise up to 7 days (used to be 8 but I doubt they will change it back), except for any weeks that include a major US Holiday (like Christmas or New Year's).

I am not understanding this? If it turns to red, do you take it out while the bonus is happening and reinsert it?
