Hoosierpop Posted June 1, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2022 For anyone on a recent Glory B2B, did they test before the second leg? Or, if no Glory passengers, on any other ships? Or maybe another way to put it, has anyone been on a B2B in the last month where they did test? And if they did test, did they really charge $150 per person? Craziness. Vaccinated guests traveling on back-to-back cruises may need to be tested in between voyages. <- straight from Carnival's covid policy page. and what poppycock. I have never seen where Carnival charged for testing on b2b.

I have never seen where Carnival charged for testing on b2b. Yeah, I’m an idiot. I was reading under the unvaccinated guest part about the testing costs. So that won’t apply. But this is what threw me. All guests traveling on back to back cruises will need to be tested in between voyages. Irrespective of voyage length, testing will be provided on a complimentary basis to children ages 2-4. Unvaccinated children ages 5-11 will be charged US$60 per person, and guests ages 12 and older will be charged US$150 per person to their onboard Sail & Sign account for testing and reporting. I just saw some folks saying a that testing was up to each ship now, so trying to see what the current situation is. kicia Posted June 2, 2022 #6 Share Posted June 2, 2022 Testing between B2B changed the beginning of April. It is up to the doctor on board to determine if testing is required based on the number of covid cases on board.

Bandman Posted June 4, 2022 #11 Share Posted June 4, 2022 Currently on Mardi Gras Back to Back. No testing this morning. Just a quick off and right back on. We did spend an hour waiting in the Flamingo dining room with the rest of the back to backers. Some who were obviously sick with some kind of respiratory infection….. That's almost as bad as going to the hospital and catching a bug leaving you sicker than you were.

Clarification - as of May 2nd - "Unvaccinated guests will be tested on board in between voyages. From time to time, vaccinated guests may be tested in between voyages."
