We stayed at the Airport Pullman a few weeks ago, on returning from a European International flight. Found the room (King Standard) the bed, shower and room service very acceptable - would recommend it to any considering staying here. Very short walk back to / or from Domestic terminal. The Concierge will organise taxi for you to Cruise Terminal.

As stated earlier, make sure the taxi / Uber driver knows you are going to the new International Cruise Terminal at Luggage Point, Pinkenba (seems some went to the old one!!)

Enjoy your cruises everyone 🚢🏝

The medallion is working fine on board. It appears the hiccups were more the app but when you get here it’s all systems go 🥳🥳🥳

So ……… are you going to start a new “Live review” …… or just continue with this one for the next 14 days?? We need to know where you are heading next, here or “Live from B2B#2” 😆😂🤣

Good Question. I will be following along wherever it is. But Irene, maybe you can chill more on this 4 nighter.

Thank you very much Porky55, sounds like a good hotel for the International Cruise Terminal & easy walking from the domestic terminal. Let the planning continue! 😀👍 Vicki.

Agreed, tho I think Irene may be enjoying the reviewing nearly as much as we enjoy reading 👏👏

Like us CDaze, you are now on a countdown to the 26th?? Have you started packing yet?

Please, if there are any problems, don’t hold it against me - we had just flown 28 hours from Amsterdam and would have slept in a bus shelter 🤣😂 but everything seemed new and lovely 👍

28 hour flight, yuk!! I appreciate your thoughts on the Hotel & I can imagine a ‘bus shelter’ would have been wonderful at that point in time. 😂 Vicki.

YES. I have packed one carry-on bag so far. It's full of all that misc stuff that I don't need access to this week like: spare phone chargers, the US adaptors, medical kit, toiletries bag (have double of everything) etc etc.I am still worried about the RAT and I keep thinking it is all going to get taken away from me on Saturday. I will relax more Saturday afternoon.

My main worry as stated earlier, without the cards on lanyards you wont be able to tell the newbies, when you see someone looking lost and confused, you won't know if its a blue card or and elite on a plus package.......🤣

... or one of Princess' more mature passengers, hehehe

on day 8 of a 10N cruise, a lovely 'mature age' lady asked me where some venue was. I said it's all the way at the front & 2 decks down. She asked me which direction is the front of the ship. I pointed her in the right direction, and watched her progress & she was headed in the right direction, and I hoped she got to where she was going.

A few cruises back on the diamond, a mature aged couple came up to the 14th deck, in the middle, and the guy looked around, then in a southern US accent state in a loud frustrated voice, "Now were the dam are we!!", a little help and they were happily of to their destination.😄

Remember I took our rats first thing Wednesday morning even though it turned out earlier than the 24 hrs but was all so unsure like 24 hrs before boarding etc (11am) and so

on. Main this we were negative and we’re not asked to show anything!

for what it’s worth we were not given a rat or asked about it fir B2B . Maybe I better start a new topic that you can all add to as you get on. Suite benefits! B2B protocol? What do you reckon???

After Cbtours review, I’m not worried about RAT at all now 😮💨

Just a few possible adds if you are interested (you probably have them 😁) but here goes; magnets for keeping notices, dinner bookings etc up on the wall, keeps the cabin much tidier. I also have magnets with hooks for hats, scarves, lanyards - but beware the Medallion near magnets, just take care🙄

We also take a movement sensor night light (battery) to pop in the bathroom at night, so don’t disturb other sleeper with bright lights (good enough to do what is needed). Just on a personal note - I take scent stems as no matter what ship we’ve been in - cabins always have an ‘odour’. This is very personal of course.
Have fun anyway - oh and don’t forget a cardigan / jacket or something, we have been having cool nights up this way and sometimes the ship can have “cold” spots.

It’s like riding a bike! You never forget, just might wobble a bit at first.

also this is a new ship and really quite a different layout! When you go looking for the international cafe in the piazza it’s not there!!!! It’s adjoining the casino! That type of thing.

Saw a photo someone had posted and saw the position of the International cafe and thought it seemed a bit weird.Hope there was no smoking in casino, will  miss the relaxation in the piazza listening to music

Have a good time on your next segment and might see you around the ship from 23 rd

Cheers Carole

I forgot my magnet clip/hooks but there are so many storage drawers that I don’t think I actually own the clothes to fill them lol

We were very disappointed it wasn’t in the piazza but noting it’s much narrower ship obviously accounts for it.

that being said we’ve been enjoying a few delectable savouries for lunch as too full from Brekky and saving room for dinner lol

There won't be any smoking in the casino. Smoking inside Princess ships isn't allowed in our region.

Coral is a lot narrower than the other Princess ships that have cruised here as she was designed to fit through the original Panama Canal locks. I guess they had shuffle things around to fit all the popular bars, cafe, lounges etc in.

I have a container that contains odds and ends I might need on a cruise. It started off quite small but has grown over the years as I've added things I actually used on past cruises.

It has magnets and magnetic hooks, duct tape (useful to repair damaged suitcases), scissors, sellotape, safety pins, super glue, sewing kit, post-it pad, spare pen, highlighters, jewellers screwdrivers, blutack, and so on.

Same here. I have a plastic tub in the garage that is just for cruise stuff and I also have all the similar stuff you have listed ready to go. I have already packed it all as I won't need it this week.

Ahh, not sure about that, the Coral is 294m x 32m, the Sun class is 261.31m x 32.25m. definitely from the Grand class and later, its smaller yes. but not when you compare it with the Sun, sea, and Dawn, and I think maybe the star?.🤔

Star is aa Grand Class ship.

It's that extra .25m .... The only Sun Class ship that had an International Cafe was Sun itself. It was squashed in to deck 5 and the usual bar that was there on the other Sun Class ships was just a small corner at one side of the cafe.

It will be interesting to see what the IC is like on Coral. Hopefully some of the bars, like Crooners, will have espresso machines for people who just coffees. They did that on Sea and Diamond and it was great. On Ruby there was only the IC and the buffet and getting a coffee was a nightmare.

Just wondering if they have the PES lounge on these short getaways and if so, where do they hold it?
