It's sad in a way, when you use to see the blue cards, you knew they were new, and you could help them if the looked lost.

And the medallions can be anywhere now! Tucked into shirts! Watch nana etc cos they don’t need to be sighted as they pick up electronically. As you approach service (shops) international cafe etc they know who’s standing in front of them lol.

Did you notice if there were any mahjong sets available in the library?

There were none there today, however there was a bridge and majong session scheduled for this morning so maybe they were out at that.

So true 🙂 and the cruises are shorter which will attract the crowd that can  only get a couple of days off work!! Bring on the longer cruises and the ‘blue cards’ will return to PnO.

Unlike all us retirees with too much time on our hands 🤣😆

Once the “blue cards” experience all the extras they get included on Princess, that they have to pay for on P&O, they may not go back, especially if Princess keeps the Plus fares with the alcohol package so cheap and available on short cruises  😂

My main worry as stated earlier, without the cards on lanyards you wont be able to tell the newbies, when you see someone looking lost and confused, you won't know if its a blue card or and elite on a plus package.......🤣

CB tours has the dining changed now where if you pick the same time each night you will get a different table and different waiter?  IE no tradition dining any more?  I will be really disappointed if this is the case as it was half the fun getting to know your waiters and having them get to know you.

After two and a half years without a cruise, I will be looking lost and confused.

They will all be waving their black medallions before you know it 😁

The first cruise is nearly over - the boomerang cruise has almost come back.

The lower P is a tracking remnant from the shakedown cruise. This cruise has added the upper P and the boomerang.

It’s like riding a bike! You never forget, just might wobble a bit at first.

also this is a new ship and really quite a different layout! When you go looking for the international cafe in the piazza it’s not there!!!! It’s adjoining the casino! That type of thing.

I am not sure cos even though I’m not a blackie til these cruises have finished we are in club class cos of suite. And with medallion it’s a chorus where ever you go “hello mr & mrs webber”🥰🥰🥰🥰

it’s a nice sort of thing but i wonder if any of you watched that James cavel?? Series I think it was special interest or something and everyone had those little imaginary boxes around them with there details lol. My warped sense of humour thinks we might be like that here 😂😂😂😂

Ok 6.22am end day of cruise one! This is especially for and B2B ‘s following along.

Yesterday we heard nothing went about enjoying everything. At one stage our lovely room steward reiterated to just leave everything possible hanging etc.

there were no rats in our room either, all day or when we got back from dinner.
next thing he dropped us some papers re today. And a GUEST IN TRANSIT voucher should we happen to want to get off, which if we do we need to reboard by 3.30pm.

I wondered if I’m some way the agent who told one of you guys to board by 3.30 for 4pm had his info mixed etc?

anyway no need to get off ship. IC will be open as will MDR and for this suite privileged chicky, so will sabatini for my breakfast but only til 8.30am 🥰

david our room steward said to leave our personal docs etc in safe, go for Brekky them come back and retrieve and transfer. It sounds like he will do our new suite first as opposed to those getting off for good.

still no rats and we didn’t ask if he had one lol

so it looks like plain sailing today pardon the pun.

few other things. The atm on board only dispenses US $$$$ if you draw them the desk can change them. We don’t want to do that as obviously would incur charges.

thre was a show on last night first time. Motor City. We didn’t go last night cos we can go the rest of cruise. Write up looked good though. Shows appear to be 8 and 10pm

thanks for following along. Still loving cruising, still loving the food, EVERYTHING 🥰🥰🥰

and finally, yep it appears I can order most cocktails and ask them to convert them to virgins 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Bahama mama was very nice 🥰

Thank you Irene (and Frank) it's been very informative. Glad the change over is looking smooth.

And for us Mocktailers, that's great news that you can get a virgin version of most cocktails.

A huge thank you to @Cbtoursfor your info and everyone else about info on the wonky 'Medallion'.  My use of it has been relatively easy thanks to all the information from those who have used it as well as all the insurance questions and answers.   Our cruise is still a way off but we are really looking forward to starting cruising again.

The medallion is working fine on board. It appears the hiccups were more the app but when you get here it’s all systems go 🥳🥳🥳

I can see you from the lift lobby at the Pullman Hotel at the airport!  See you soon Coral.

Good morning kenexx. Just wondering if you can give me your thoughts on the Pullman Hotel at the airport? Thanks for your thoughts. 😀 Have a wonderful cruise on the Coral. Vicki.
