You (luckily) missed the lanyard I got already two times 😄

So indeed a last minute booking can produce a missing tote bag. Which then needs to be upgraded from the gift shop.

We got a cap once and don't consider that to be upgrade! Much better to get a lanyard!

I would totally love to get a cap as a free gift.  Lat year I got a draw string back pack.  I really like it, take it with me on the beach.

Grown ups shall never wear a cap! A sportscap is ok on the arena but only there!

Do whatever you like but that is what I think!

Where/how do you receive the gift?

They will leave it in your room usually with a thank you for being a loyal customer etc etc etc card

oops didn’t notice the second page of this thread where others already answered.  Sorry 🙈

I got a Porsche 911.

🤣 Knowing MSC it would have been without the 2 AA batteries!

As far as I know I have only received a cheap looking plastic pen (the sort you get as freebies at big exhibitions) or draw string bag of the type you might take your swimming costume.

The gifts are usually tote bags. Once we received a baseball cap and a backpack. I use this backpack a lot at home. If you don't received anything ask the cabin steward. They will put the gifts on the bed in the next couple of days.

For head protection out on the sun deck, I would encourage a cap of some sort.  Indoors, especially in the dining room?  Inappropriate!  To quote a great thinker, "Do whatever you like, but that is what I think."
