For those that are being denied their Carnival shareholder's benefit/onboard credit.

I just got my reply back from them that I sent a few weeks back and was denied for 4 future cruises I have booked. I only have 100 shares but that shouldn't have anything to do with it. They said "In accordance with the terms of the shareholder onboard credit benefit, reservations with a reduced rate promotion do not qualify for the onboard credit. While it may have been inadvertently accepted in the past, we are now adhering to the conditions of the shareholder program."

I have always been approved until our cruise this month. We have 100 shares.

I expected to be denied because the cruise was booked under a interline rate. In the past we still got our OBC even when booking an interline rate though.

What is an "interline rate"?  TIA!

Special rates reserved solely for current and/or former employees of the travel industry.

They essentially get the lowest rate, MOST of the time.

I’m not getting my email for stockholders benefit to go through today. Sending email to stockholders@carnival.com just like always, but today it keeps bouncing as “undeliverable “. Any suggestions?  Thanks, m—

We bought the minimum 100 shares just a couple of months ago. We were approved and given our onboard credit for a cruise in September within 3 weeks of submitting the documentation.

I wanted to add to mine that we had a casino rate and got approved. Not a free room but a cheap rate

I had shareholder credit denied for cruise last January. Back then because covid cases were high they let you change to another date if you wanted. I changed to cruise a month later, exact same price, itinerary,  etc & sent in request for that one. It was applied.

Just a follow-up:

Yesterday after I corrected my mistake of the email address, I sent requests for two bookings on Legend August 28 departure and received confirmation today that benefits are now applied!  They were VIFP pricing but nothing extraordinary.  Thanks for the help here.  m—

Proves that there's no rhyme or reason to denials or approvals IMO.

Seems this is another inconsistency, the time it takes for approvals and or denials. Took them 19 days to deny my last request, which sux of course, though I did resubmit it...figured wth.  Or for you, basically overnight....hard to believe they are stretched as thin as they say if a request can be addressed over night.

Hey...I see we're "neighbors"...maybe there's a secret you can share.

So very true, LH, no rhythm, no pattern, no consistency, no inconsistency.....no nothing!

So in a nutshell, my playing the part of Sherlock Holmes was an exercise in futility ... lol...lol...lol
