Use them on friends or family if they use those lines and have them split the savings with you.  Do it all the time w Amex offers

I think I have about 250 offers on my Delta Platinum AMEX right now and none of them are useful!  They used to cover the annual fee no problem...

I usually have no problem covering the annual fee on other benefits including Walmart+

When I do get AMEX Carnival offers, it was for points and not statement credit.

 

The last one I saw that was useful was in Celebrity.

It's not showing on any of my AmEX cards this time around. One tip I heard was to keep adding offers because AmEx always makes 100 available so maybe that will make it pop up. I haven't been able to get the "backdoor" way to work for years now 😞

I wasted a few minutes of my life and added all of them. One or more expire today or tomorrow, so something should pop up anyway.

I now have over 200 offers added and still no Carnival. Maybe next time.

Since November 2015, I have received $1,655 in statement credits from cruise purchases.  I did not receive any of the previous batch that were reported, and none this time.  I have 182 offers added to my card.  I wonder if they are excluding people who have used too many offers and, in my case, don’t use the card for anything else?  My SO has received $625 since May 2018, uses his card frequently, and did not receive the latest two batches of offers.  There are 175 offers added to his card.  We have completely separate, unrelated accounts.

Does anyone know if the offer will work for say a drink package? Is the drink package considered a shopping add on?

I used it last time for the fun shops, the Amex and Wells offers both worked, you could always just make a payment on one of your future cruises, that also worked before. It will get classified as a new booking since it's going towards an unpaid cruise.

We got the offer on our AMEX Blue Cash Everyday but now I have to figure out if I can even use it. We already have 2 upcoming fully paid for cruises (7 day Panorama in Nov/Dec & 12 day Carnival Pride Baltic next July). Those were paid for with FCC's due to COVID. Don't need Cheers on the 7 day and already have $600 OBC on that one. Already paid for Cheers on the 12 day Baltic next year but thinking of canceling that and using the money for excursions instead. We did Cheers on our recent 10 day Alaska on the Miracle and not really sure we got value for it. We are really better suited at a max 5-6 drinks per day so we may be better off just paying individually for drinks. Baltic Sea cruise is fairly port intensive with 7 port days and only 4 at sea days. Still contemplating that one.

 

Hoping Carnival adds some Fall 2024 Hawaii cruises before the offer expires. Scored a Premium Balcony on the Miracle for our Hawaii sailing that got cancelled due to COVID so would love to be able to replicate that but those cabins go extremely fast. Would even settle for a bowling alley balcony like we had on Miracle in June on our Alaska cruise. But same thing - those obviously go fast as well.

I've used the offer on existing reservations and gotten the benefit.  They just need to see it charged from Carnival in the U.S.  What is the Offer ID code on your current offer?
