Oasis Diamond Lounge

We finally have reached Diamond status and will finally be able to check out the Diamond Lounge on Oasis in October.  I'm pretty excited about that 🙂

What time is this lounge open?

I've read there is "specialty" coffee available:  is this available all day?  What does "specialty" mean exactly?

I've read there is continental breakfast:  I assume this means nothing hot/no eggs?

Read there are appetizers:  what time is this?

I really like that the 4 drinks are loaded on your sea pass to be used anywhere on the ship each day.

Are there any other Diamond benefits we should take advantage of on Oasis?

Thank you!

You use your sea pass card to get in so you can always get in. If they are good about cleaning the coffee machine it might work all day. It has different kinds and you push the button. Self serve.

The fingers food starts at 5 pm. Hot and cold. Could be chicken wings, sausages, stuff that is small. Egg rolls.

Continental breakfast is pastries, rolls, some fruit usually cut up like a cup of cantaloupe and whatever. Salmon I think, I dont eat most of what's out. But I get a cup of fruit. And a donut. I dont remember what else.

It may be shutoff overnight. It makes a few different ones other than just simple coffee.

By speciality coffee they mean cappuccino, lattes, espresso etc.

There will be a letter in your cabin detailing the diamond  onboard benefits. Make sure to read it so that you understand what is being offered. Many don’t bother reading it and miss out on some benefits

In addition to your any time/any place daily drinks ( can be alcohol or not) you will receive a free day of Internet, as well as a free photo. There are numerous other freebies and discounts that will noted  be in the welcome aboard letter.

enjoy.

Thanks for posting this!  I had no idea if it were a person or a machine...so now I'm informed.

I forget to ask for my logo discount. Diamond might also get it. Like 5% nothing on a refrigerator magnet but worth it on a $65 top or set of logo towels. Might be for one item per leg.

For your free wifi day, open and it asks if you want to connect to app for free or purchase internet. Go to purchase and for me was like a coupon for 26.99 which might or might not be what it costs per day for zoom or zoom plus surf., was 32.99 a day for high level but I waited until midnight 2 days before the end and then it averaged out to 24.99 and I had $2 left over. I have the 2 free days, but works the same, just click to use the coupon and it will show the net price after discount.

Generally you have to spend $25 to get the logo shop discount. It is for an entire  purchase of logo  items.

Lol I kept going back but all were more than $25 purchases. So I only got it one time. I didnt ask or push it. For one thing prices were "dynamic" on many items. I could have gotten more off if I'd tried better.

OP I am not sure if its diamond or diamond plus. My sheet said $6 free spend in casino, but if you tried within first 24 hours you got $8. Yes read the sheet.

If there are two in the cabin, both will have an offer. It is a one time use but is for an entire purchase.

You get $6 from crown & anchor but the casino has a promotion of $2-10O.

Most get $2. $6 plus the 2 = $8

Does this discount work on pre-paid internet packages or only packages purchased while on the ship?

Only once you are onboard. Then the discount pops up. Not until you are connected to ships wifi

I have this bookmarked for faster access once I'm signed up, sometimes I need to refresh. This icafe link is where to go. But can get there thru pops too.

Okay awesome - one last question only because this is our first diamond cruise: does each person get this perk for their device so long as they're also diamond?

Yes.
And it is 24 hours from the time you activate it.   So if you activate at Noon on Tuesday, you have until Noon on Wednesday when it shuts off.  Plan your two person access for the times you might need it (save one for near the end and you can check in for your flights).

Keep in mind it is a free day of internet per Diamond Member.  I think it might also be a free photo per Diamond Member as well.

We just sailed last week as Diamond members for the first time.  Two adults and two 14 year-old daughters, all of who earned their points (no status matching for the kids to their parent status).  Each of the 4 of us got one free day of Zoom (not surf) internet.  Each ADULT got the free 8x10 photo (kids under 18 do not get that perk, otherwise we would have got 4 photos).

Regardless of how you and your children became Diamond, you still get the benefits. Even if you are Elite with Celebrity, and take a Royal Caribbean cruise, with reciprocity you’ll get all those benefits  on your first cruise with Royal

enjoy the benefits.

Thanks for all the information.  We will be on the Oasis  in October  and we just became diamond members.  A lot of first for us: first time on Oasis, Cape Liberty and a ship this large. Excited

Not quite true.  RCCL provides a piece of paper on your bed when you first enter your cabin.  The Diamond perks listed for those 18 and under varies a lot from the one provided to those over 18 years of age.  They still get benefits, but the benefits are very different (for example, no photos for the kids, they get arcade credit where we do not, we get casino credit where the do not, and the store and food and beverage discounts are quite different as well)

I did not mean to imply that the children benefit list was the sane as the adult. As you noted, the lists are indeed different.

My post was regarding the info you provided about “earning”  points. Any adult, regardless of how they became Diamond will get the same benefits of any Diamond adult. Any child, regardless of how they became Diamond, will have the same befits as other Diamond children

Just my personal opinion, but don’t set your expectations too high for the Diamond Lounge. I don’t think they are anything special and on most cruises I never step foot in them. But there are some decent perks as others have mentioned, including the four drink vouchers, unless you get the deluxe drink package.
