B2b testing preformed🫡

We are negative ✔️✔️

the air went out of the balloon of stress😵💫😬

Next stop is the jacuzzi, need some warm water to “land” the body.

Fantastic.... now let out a big breath and have a wonderful day.    As much as I've been tested having tested positive once without any symptoms and then having a breakthrough case I really get nervous.    At least tomorrow I'm getting the new Bivalent  Booster.

Hope your next cruise is a smooth as your last.   We really love B2B's  even when we have to change rooms.   I just booked a new cruise for December and was able to get the same room for both.

So it was jacuzzi time😎 Norwaylady needed to “land” to breathe mode😵💫🫡😬🤪🤩

So tonight’s show was not attended. It was a production show, so we will probably see it later❤️ ( and we seen it before;)

We went for dinner around 20.15. Seated at Made & Zeins zone. Warmed welcome from everyone❤️ It was good to go to dinner❤️

It’s very sad that we move downstairs to mdr on next leg. But we know we will be taken good care of❤️we are seated on late dinner.

Tonight’s menu was:

Stater: cucumber salad and octopus 🐙

Main: tuna and bouillabaisse

Dessert: ice cream and biscuit crouillante

All dishes was excellent. Well balanced and good flavour.

Service is very good and warm❤️

I can really say that we feel very welcome and taken very good care of in Blu.

It’s one thing to be served and another to be taken care of❤️

We were very happy to meet Caesar (housekeeping) again on return from the jacuzzi❤️ He had been down on muscle pain/Isjias. I feel for him( bin there, done that, not recommended😵💫🥹🥵) So it was very nice to see him❤️

After dinner we went to bed. Norwaylady was “finished” after the day.

Unfortunately after a stressful day like this, the sleeping often turns into a restless battle😑🤥🫠 this night was no exception😜

So look’s like it will be a power nap at some point in the afternoon😴

First and last breakfast in Blu❤️

Ship docked this morning around 05.30.

We went down for breakfast around 07.50.

It was starting to be quiet in Blu❤️ So that was nice. I had some fruit and parfait. Mr went for fruit and eggs Benedict.

After finishing up our breakfast, we had to leave the ship…. Guess what? It’s a long line for getting off😝

Today’s plan is to take a walk in Vancouver and enjoy the city before we return to ship before 15.00 all-onboard time.

I will be prepared for "no testing for b2b" meaning testing, no matter what anyone says.  Maybe, I will even look forward to that test, being disappointed if it does no happen!😜

Really enjoying your review!🥰

I'm so very happy for you that you made it through the testing ordeal and can now enjoy the rest of the Cruise. I watched a webinar yesterday about the Australia New Zealand season. Captain Leo was talking about the Eclipse's Transpacific. I got very emotional. I knew I was really excited about the return of cruising in our part of the world, but  I didn't realise how emotional I was about it. Thanks again for bringing us along and happy sailing.

May there always be Tradewinds behind you, Rainbows above you, and Aloha all around you.

Vancouver is showing off in beautiful sunny weather😎 ( no smoke from fires today! So clean and clear air;)

We have been walking a longer tour. It was crispy in the morning but when the sun went higher, the temperature raised quickly.

We walked from the cruise terminal by the ocean to English Bay, onward by the ocean to Howe street. Then into the shopping area, Nordstrom, Gucci, luxury brand etc. (no new dresses or purses;)

We wanted a little lunch, so we picked up some sushi and then back to the cruise terminal for a picnic on the rooftop in the sun. It seemed very hectic downstairs for cruise passengers. So we waited until 13.50 to go down😵💫😵💫😵💫

Then it was time to return to the ship.

OMG 😱 the line to security and us border control is loooooong. And we must process through this, too go back on the ship.

This time ckin was after all this. So are we happy?

NO, as a b2b this is really not funny.

I know it’s port failure, but why is there no line for b2b?

So we are dancing our way around the line😝

🥁 🥁

We are officially back onboard!

Took only 1.30h in line thru security and us borders😜

A lady collapsed just behind us when we were thru security😰 I really hope she’s doing okay❤️  The b2b must follow the same process as new guests. So it’s really not okay to be a b2b in Vancouver AND get of the ship😑

But we are back onboard🥳🥳🥳

We have all our luggage in our room and the door sign is up😎

WiFi is connected again and her are today’s paperwork🥰

In my 65 cruises this was by far the worst embarkation!

no one cares about their assigned boarding times. We had 11:30 am boarding time and there was already hundreds of people in line.

its awful….. it’s really a mad house.
Combination of 2 ships or more in port is crazy.
When we left for Alaska it was HAL, Princess & X.
Same crazy lines and awful experience.

Sail away was from our balcony. It was nice to sit down and just relax. We been walking all day and standing in line for a long time.

So it was good to just enjoy the sun and the view.

I went down to Al bacio,  picked up some coffee and a little beer to Mr😎

So tonight’s plan is just relaxing and have dinner.

Our roll call from Alaska has reported on “let’s just say” not good numbers and how this effected a lot of b2b sailors. They were taken of the ship in Vancouver.

I must admit that I’m feeling very stressful about this.

It makes our decision to mask up on the ship indoors, on transport and try to stay away from crowded areas more correct. We been strict and will continue to be strict.

There will be breakfast to our room, no buffet, no elevator and I must feel a bit on my stress level of what we will attend.

It’s awful to say it, but this is how it is for the moment❤️

I hope the trip is wonderful for you and I will be doing it vicariously through you.  I can't wait to get back on on Oct 3 hopefully, even though today and last night for us were somewhat stressful.

One real advantage of a B2B is that you have a tendency to kick back on the second cruise and not feel like you have to do everything.    We really enjoy the cruise without having to be in the Crowded Theater and Casino.    Believe me (being diagnosed on the B2B testing of a B3B) this Omicron variant is very contagious).    I was never on an elevator, show or casino.  Wore a mask 100% of time when out of room.  Never ate in Buffet and was luck that in Luminae they kept others more than 6 feet away from us.   I still got it.   The good news was it was so mild I would have never known I had it except for the test.

I hope you have continued good luck and have a wonderful 2nd half of your vacation.   I'm enjoying both of your smiling faces in all the pictures.
