I do know that he doesn't sit in the cheap seats.

Flight credit this time from 3 years ago.  They can strap me to the wing this go around. I would not take the bathroom for the full length though. 🤪🤢

I was all depressed after finishing up my review and thought "what do I do now"? When BAM! I see you have a live review! YES!!!!! I'm excited as I know it's been long overdue for you. I will live vicariously through you and Lisa for the next week anxiously awaiting every post, every picture, every cocktail you drink. I know this is going to be a fantastic. You and John were the inspiration for me to even do reviews. You are a legend. Have a great week and Bon Voyage.

Cheers to you and Lisa my friend!

Great flick, still today.

I would like to have seen Montana.

Flight Attendant: You know, if you do try and get some sleep, the flight will go a lot faster.

Jack Ryan: I can never sleep on a plane. Turbulence.

Flight Attendant: Pardon?

Jack Ryan: Turbulence. Solar radiation heats the Earth's crust, warm air rises, cold air descends - turbulence. I, I don't like that.

Flight Attendant: Oh. Well, try to get some sleep anyway.

Back to our hotel after a nice dinner out.  Where are we staying?  The room key doesn’t say…

Front of Keys.

Thankfully they have a sign out front.

We travelled a few thousand kilometres from home and who do we have parked beside us…. someone from home who must love punishment with that plate.

As for the room, it’s nice and tidy. We have a king bed with two single beds.  The bed is a little firm, definitely not zero gravity.

Decent bathroom. Hopefully this isn’t in the blast zone. 😝

The single beds are cute with the space theme for the kids. Ignore the wall paper border that’s falling off the wall. Gravity is taking hold.

In the lobby continuing with the space theme they have a photo opportunity.  So, how would I rate this hotel?  It’s newer, clean and has a great location near the port.

I’d stay here again, but I would give it an out of the world rating.  They didn’t quite shoot for the stars, but it has the gravitational pull to bring me back.

What did we do for dinner, well we were lucky enough to have fellow CC member John give us a ride from MCO to Cape Canaveral.  So it was only more than appropriate to take him out for dinner. I’m not sure why this is posting updated down but here we are.

We went to a medium sized Italian eatery, minutes from the hotel.  Wood fired pizza was their calling card.

We split the meatball with ricotta.  Delicious.

Got a couple pizzas.

I had the special.  Don’t remember the name but it was tasty.

I had a enough room left for dessert.

I know you said the hotel is newer……it is actually about 15+yrs old.  We stayed there with my granddaughter when she was about six, she is now 21..  They do a great job keeping up their maintenance and everyone there is very nice.

I hope you guys have an awesome cruise!!!  We love the Mariner!!

After dinner we took a drive thought the community. Stopped at the beach.

This business was still boarded up in preparation for Ian. Looks like there’s a hurricane bar around the corner.

Then at the port. Disney and a Carnival ship were in and they would be here for a port of call.

Going from memory we also saw this Space X rocket.  It is under the red and white crane.
