Nieuw Statendam in Port Everglades on March 11, 2023

ms Nieuw Statendam will be at pier 26 from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, and she is leaving on a 7 night Tropical Caribbean sailing

 

 

Also in port is Sky Princess at pier 2 (4:45 am – 5:00 pm), Odyssey of the Seas at pier 18 (5:15 am – 5:00 pm), and Celebrity Apex at pier 25 (6:00 am – 3:30 pm)

If X Apex leaves on time - NS should be able to leave at 4 PM - whether or not she is ready then, we'll have to see.

 

After 3 ships last Saturday, only 1 tomorrow. 😞  lol

The end of the season is getting closer and closer.....only about another month of sailaways in Port Everglades!

I'll be on Nieuw Statendam.  All of our documentation, the app, etc say we're leaving at 3.  However, with Apex in the way & scheduled for 3:30 I'm assuming it'll be closer to the 4pm the port schedule shows 😉

Yup, I believe only Zuidy returning from World Cruise will be in FLL in May. April is the normal Caribbean season departure month.

I've got the family cabana up in the Retreat, but on starboard side.  I'll probably run down to the deck below and wave from just under the family cabana on the port side.  I'm wearing a tank top - black but with scattered splotches of other colors.

This is so cool to watch.  I even saw where I could register a wave!(?)  But, alas, I am a solo cruiser and it seems like a waste.  Next Saturday, though, I will be waving my heart out on the NS!!
