Well I cancelled my internet that I had purchased at a terrific price. I expect to have it reinstated at that rate if this package is not valid.

Hi @Sweetsue5680! I also had gotten the internet at a great price (bundled with my drink package) and had canceled. I called RC, and they were able to reinstate my original package price. I just had the order number and total. Good luck 😊

I found it interesting they referenced what “all the social media posts” stated.

There is something very odd about this whole situation.

I booked 2 packages for one cruise and one for another. So far only got one email. Wonder if it’s $50 per booking or what. Not that I expect more….just curious.

My wife got the apology/OBC email and her email is not attached to the cruise booking or cruise planner purchase...so it may have gone out to a wider mailing list.

I'm surprised they left off the word "you" in the last sentence. I would imagine many people read this statement over many times. Maybe they need a new person to do final checks before letters are sent and non-existent packages are uploaded!

Not a very professional letter... there are other grammatical and punctuation errors in it as well. They were clearly in a hurry to get this out!

If you search on this website, under Celebrity Cruises, you will find multiple threads for Premier Pass. It WAS a Celebrity Cruises package. The threads date back to 2021, where the package was discontinued (probably because of the pandemic).

This thread

, entry #3, lists the details of the Premier Pass, in 2021. It is the same as what was mistakenly listed on RC.

Additionally, this webpage https://preview.aem.celebritycruises.com/int/things-to-do-onboard/onboard-packages/premier-pass, lists the Premier Pass on Celebrity. It is incomplete and doesn't work correctly. Perhaps because the IT people at RCG put it in the wrong website?

I, too, purchased the Premier Pass on RC this weekend ... on 4 cruises. We were VERY happy.

Although I don't like how this has played out, it is clear that it was a mistake. Celebrity DID HAVE a Premier Pass. Celebrity IS TRYING to bring it back. RC hasn't had one in the past, and probably won't in the future.

In fact, I'm not familiar with RC EVER having a wine pairing with a sommelier. I don't think they even have sommeliers. I have been to wine pairings on Celebrity. Although we were confused about the availability on RC, we were thrilled about the possiblity.

So, oops to the IT person/people who did this. I'm going to enjoy a bottle of Veuve Clicquot on my next RC cruise ... I'll just be paying for it. 🙂

Well I expect it on both. After all I was doubly disappointed. 🤣

We have an Ovation of the Seas 8/18/2023 cruise book to Alaska.  I can't see anything about a Premier Pass for our cruise.  We booked this cruise through the Casino group.  Does anyone think this might be the case we can't see the Premier Pass notification in our personalizer?

It was a glitch and was not offered on all sailings.

Just got off the phone and RCCL gave me OBC of $35 for each of my weeks which is the difference to repurchase from my original purchase price of internet.  I then repurchased for each week using combination of OBC and charging the difference to my credit card.  This is in advance of the $50 OBC to be received when the Premier is officially cancelled and refunded. All is good🌈

Got my e-mail at 5:12Pm.  I can use the $50 per booking.  What drives me crazy is the wording

"this product is not available and has never been available for Royal Caribbean International guests."

Would like to know whom the package was intended for.  My gut feeling is that it's going to be regurgitated and with a higher price tag.

Check your credits. I have $200, don’t know how but I bought two packages for a sailing in three weeks. Maybe they did $50 per person?

I only have $50 which I had from a previous promotion.

But the purchase history still shows the Premier package as booked.

If you click on any booked cruises, then click on the plan my cruise and any OBC will reflect in the upper right hand side of page.

So far, the credits have not yet been posted.

Thanks. I’m not seeing it there for some reason - but maybe that’s because I’m on mobile, and I’d need to check it out on my desktop?

anyways though, I did a dummy booking for an excursion, and in the checkout page, it’s giving me an option to apply OBC. So, it looks like it has posted!

Great, however, I don't see mine yet.
